Moderators LynnDel Posted January 10, 2014 Moderators Posted January 10, 2014 The answer to the email question is yes, CA gets the credit. We never would have known of each other's existence without this forum. The biggest surprise to me was discovering how much different the online persona is from the real person. Fun comparing and contrasting! Quote LD
Woody Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 LOL. smile smile. Yep - CA gets a lot of credit. Because of this forum I've enjoyed knowing LynnDel for over 7 years. And as Stan says - she is a huge 'upgrade' for me. How she tolerates Woody - I have no idea. I just consider myself greatly blessed. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Moderators Nan Posted January 10, 2014 Moderators Posted January 10, 2014 I have not been in here much lately but have congratulated LynnDel and Woody in that other place where news gets shared. As this is a cyber romance, shouldn't there be a cyber wedding to go with the real time one ? Quote
Moderators LynnDel Posted April 4, 2014 Moderators Posted April 4, 2014 Woody and I feel so blessed to have found a house we both love. We signed the papers for it a week ago, and Woody has moved in. It's less than a mile from his old place in Oregon, so it was a relatively easy move. I am back in California dealing with the pending sale of my place, and trying to clear out the leftovers of belongings of five family members who used to live here. I won't be moving my things until May. Anyone wanting free transportation from Sacramento to central Oregon in mid-May, I'm needing a driver, since I have two vehicles and a U-Haul to take up. It's about an 8-hour trip, but I usually take longer. Have to stop and take pictures and stretch my legs. Our wedding will be a private one in Hawaii later this month. We will be welcoming visitors at our home mid-June and thereafter, after we're somewhat settled. We have vowed not to go in debt for furniture or even our much-dreamed-of hot tub, so "settled" will be a relative term for awhile. PM me for the address if you want to stop on by. We are very close to all kinds of natural wonders and man-made resorts, and not too far off the highway. Quote LD

Moderators Kevin H Posted April 4, 2014 Moderators Posted April 4, 2014 This is so exciting!!! Yes indeed!!! I am so happy for them and thank you for the update. God bless your move!!! I hope you post photos! The two of you are in my prayers. Please also keep me in your prayers and if you know anyone who is of child bearing age, who would like to have a friendship that could either stay at friendship, or move on to commitment, marriage and children, and who is not terrified of my theology, please feel free to mention me to them. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted April 4, 2014 Moderators Posted April 4, 2014 Quote: . . . who is not terrified of my theology,. . . I see two (2) potential aspects here: 1) In the real world two people can be so far apart in theology that they should not be together. But life style which is related to theology, is often the real issue. Regardless of theology, people need to have similar life styles and ultimate goals. 2) Once life style and ultimate goals are determined not to be a problem the issue of theology raises it head. At this point, the issue is probably not theology but how each will relate to the other. A willingness to accept the other without attempting to either change or to belittle that person will go a long way. At this point can each be willing to accept the other where they are without attempting to change them. Quote Gregory
