to many things seem odd.

Why is there no debris on top of the Ocean.

How could it go as fas as it did without anyone seeing this missing plane?

I do hope they find it there, but it just seems, well weird.

A lot of odd things, since we haven't see anything like this before that I know of. When it comes to finding it, I think that we forget how big the ocean is. Last night I heard some expert say that finding the plane would be like finding a shoebox in the Rocky Mountains at night with a flashlight. Sometimes I can't even find a particular shoebox in my own garage!

It's not just weird, it stinks. The Malaysian gov't has done nothing but lie and obfuscate from the very beginning.

It was soon discovered that they knew the plane had taken a left turn, but did not tell anybody. Instead they let everybody look in the opposite direction, which they knew was the wrong place, for a week. You have to have a motive to do something like that. What was it?

There are other discrepancies but I can't remember them all. Then there was that time that they declared that they knew where the plane was, and that the investigation was over, even though they did not have one single piece of the plane.

As if that was going to stop all the other countries that were already looking for it from looking. Yet I have not heard anybody accuse them of anything to speak of.

I have a feeling that the plane is not in the ocean.

What proof is there that the plane ever went as far as is claimed? a cell phone ping? for sure we are certain this is co-pilot's phone. trust us

No debris on top of the ocean, could maybe be is most likely because plane is not in the ocean.

Given all the dark speech on the news, with very little if any conviction demonstrated from any source, it seems very likely to me that there are parties who know exactly who, what, where, and why, though there does seems to be a small amount of fuzziness about exactly when.

Someone (government) is saying my technology is better yours and I can prove it. You have seen a lear jet disappear, just you watch and see what we can do. You want this technology too? 239 body count to high a price????

just some of my thoughts

yeah, the United States is such an evil country.. didn't fight in WWI or WWII, didn't loan money to countries afterwards to rebuild, aren't the 1st to offer help in the form of manpower and money and food and medicine when there are disasters worldwide, etc etc etc.

I'm sorry, but it really irritates me to read such drivel as written in that Pravda article. It's full of unfounded innuendos and assertions on a lot of assorted situations.

Regarding the Malaysia Flight, the US had offered assistance from the get-go, and was *refused* .... if they had gone in uninvited, there would have been hootie-calls about *that*...

The United States can't win, no matter what it does.

It once again makes me wonder why the United States bothers to help any foreign county during times of disaster.

waiting for the cuban news service to see what they will say.

ANY guesses?

It is quite amazing how these foreign news outlets consistently seem to offer such foreign (in both senses of the word) perspectives on a whole range of subjects including MH370.

Perhaps the Cuban news service will say the CIA stole the plane, killed the passengers, planned to repaint it, and then crash it into a US city and say Iran was at fault. Then they could use that incident as a pretext for war against Iran. Where would Cuba get such an idea from?????

Like most others, I hope they find the plane soon... it would be great if the mystery is solved.

I do wonder if someone threw the Black Box in the Ocean, or even if that is possible.

I love my country but Pravda raised an interesting point in the first paragraph. With all the US military satellites, what did they see? Many of you probably have never heard of the Gary Powers case back in the late 50's because you were not even born yet. Anyway, he was shot down over the former Soviet Union in his U-2 spy plane. The US kept insisting it was a weather plane which later our gov't had to retract. More recently, the IRS is denying wrongdoing targeting conservatives. Only heaven knows all the shenanigans that our gov't has perpetrated over the years, all in the name of nat'l security of course.

Be careful dude. You might get accused of hating America.

Exactly Lazarus, especially when you include all government, not just one half.

I have held my tongue many times, and was going to do so again, but I have a problem with every time something happens people jump on the "hate America" bandwagon. If you don't like it, leave!

If you do, then stay and put a positive spin on things. If you are not a part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.

Now seriously think about it, why would Cuba or other not so friendly countries publish anything other than negative propaganda?

What I hear some Americans say on this board and elsewhere about their president, congress, government departments, various parts of the US, and Americans of a different class/color is enough to make me think they are about to get on a plane to .............North Korea!

Mike Huckabee said. “My gosh, I’m beginning to think that there’s more freedom in North Korea sometimes than there is in the United States,”

Do you think he should leave? Do you think he hates America?

My take on Cuba's response was rather tongue in cheek but I think you''ll find the loudest and most negative propaganda comes from people like Alex Jones. He's an American and a patriot!

I just finished watching a video special on PBS/Frontline about North Korea, described as the most closed dictatorial society in the world, and just so for 2 generations past, scenes smuggled out and testimonials from those who have escaped the country. I came to the conclusion the Savior of my soul has already delivered me from most of this world's satanic driven ills.

"I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them."Acts 7:34 KJV

Here is an interesting twist from a Russian News service (in English)

http://english.pravda.ru/society/stories/18-04-2014/127402-malaysia_airlines_flight_mh_370-0/

Can we expect any different from a world that has little regard for truth, no matter what government is involved? How many do we, as individuals, know who when push comes to shove, would be willing to turn the other cheek?

Which half? As I said, I love my country; it's still the best country in the world imo, but I've learned not to swallow everything our own gov't puts out.

My thoughts are the same as I have previously stated: Either do your part to become involved enough to make a difference ... if only a small bit. Just talk, criticizing, etc is in no one's best interest. Either be a part of the solution or you are a part of the problem. Or, buy a ticket to ..... North Korea! duno

As for Mike Huckabee, here is a quote that I found rather profound

Quote:
Rule #1 Never defend Huckabee. Let him talk but don't defend him. Makes you look as crazy as him.

These are nice words but are incompatible with the "like it or leave" approach to society. This is essentially saying, "agree with me or shut up". It maybe that you said it because I was not born in the US and that's understandable. I have come to expect that kind of response. Unfortunately, I have more often heard Americans say it to Americans which to me odd, given "freedom of speech" and all that.

Interestingly more and more Americans are taking your advice and leaving, albeit in small numbers.
