^ just plants that tend to give us food...ie tomatoes, herbs ect.

^ one is my mothers mince meat cookies. YUMMMMY Usually I will make a few batches between thanksgiving and Christmas, but haven't made any this year. The other is watching all the really good and really silly Christmas movies and shows.

tinsel? Tinsel is nice, but no, not on my Christmas tree this year. Ours is white, and the bulbs are all blue, blue candy canes, blue and silver bulbs, huge hanging blue bow..and mmmmmmm......pizza sure sounds good to me right now....

Just finished taking a bath in Avon white chocolate latte, you gotta try it! It smells like an almond joy...mmmmmmmm...

^ I cannot wiggle my ears without using my fingers. But, not only can I twist my tongue into a tube, I can also turn it completely upside down (both twisted to the left, and the right)!

^ Both days. Christmas eve is at my sisters with her side of the family. Then Christmas day with my dad, stepmom and step sisters etal. But since my dad and stepmom are Sunday keepers I guess Christmas day festivities will start in the afternoon.

^ I think we celebrate Canadian winter. That is where we walk outside wearing our sweaters and shorts with hiking boots

Other than that, when I was little I used to celebrate Ephiphany, which for us was Ukrainian Christmas, on Jan.6. Not very many presents but a BIG huge feast on 3 tables that would be put end to end all across the basement. I had relatives who were deaf and those who spoke Ukrainian, and it was all very exotic for me

^ Indy, for Indiana Jones...He is an Austrailian shepard mix. Likes to herd, but has nothing to herd...And I have a German Shepard, Misha...Don't try to understand why we have a Russian named dog for a German shepard...I don't know myself.

^ Soup. Potato/leek soup... or potato/cheese... or good old lentil soup with lots of diced carrots, celery, onions and potatoes in with it. Of course this soup calls for some yummy bread to go with it.

^ Mostly through other people and through the world around me - although I have quite a lot of Scripture memorised, so talking to people and observing the world often links in with Bible texts - and then I often go and search out more info.

< Sitting on the computer at work, pretty much counting down the last couple of days before the holidays. And scratching my 3 days growth of beard - I'm playing Joseph in a drama at church this Sabbath, and playing him as an unshaven carpenter.
