May we all remember with praise our God Who entered this world to give us a way out of it. And may we share this message with those round us today. There's still a little snow lying around in fields here and there from a few weeks ago, so I guess it technically counts as a white Christmas, although it's mostly just brown... aldona Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Hello to all from sunny Melbourne, where it's 35 degrees C (that's 95 F) and we're sitting here with the air conditioning on and eating fresh mango and strawberries <img src="/ubbtreads/images/graemlins/coolhello.gif" alt="" /> Because Christmas was on Sunday, today is the "extra public holiday after Boxing Day" so everyone can have an extra day off work. So most people are either watching the cricket, stampeding over themselves to grab a bargain at the after-Christmas sales, or having a picnic on the beach. Nicodema Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 My ex (#2) and his girl came up for a little while for Boxing Day. They brought a stack of Harry & David chocolate treats and we ate plum pudding. Today was the last day of my daughter's visit; we dropped her off at the airport at around 5 pm so she could catch her flight home. My son stayed over till late and then I drove him back to his father's house (he'd been here all weekend too). We're "pooped" but it was a lovely time.
