The very fact I have "indwelling sin" defiles me or pollutes my humanity even though I might not sin.  So the fact that we all have sinful natures means we all stand condemned.  Note I said condemned, not guilty.  When we sin, even by a thought, we are guilty.

Just because heterosexuals have problems with there marriages has nothing to do with what God instituted at creation!! We as humans messed that up!!

Nope. There's a long, unacknowledged inferential chain that leads to it that is outside the Bible, but you have repeatedly demonstrated that that is invisible to you. As such, it just seems more efficient to move on than to keep hammering at it.

And who does the convicting?  It's not me nor anybody else...it's the work of the Holy Spirit.  I really don't understand why so many feel they need to do His work.

To proclaim God's truths is not the same as doing the convicting.  The Holy Spirit convicts, but not before someone receives truth--and how are they to receive it without a preacher?  (See Romans 10:8-17.)

Switch your terms around and it looks more accurate, i.e. homosexuality is immoral.  Not all immorality would involve homosexuality.

I used the word of God to substantiate my argument. You have used your own opinions in response.

 

Jackson, you surprise me.  In other threads, I have made a very clear statement on this issue.  You have either:

1) Never read those statements, which surprises me but I suspect to be true.

2)  Have totally failed to understand the definitive statement that I made, which I doubt.

3) Are intentionally, by implication, suggesting that I believe opposite from what I believe, which I am not willing to attribute to you yet.

I have made those clear statements in other threads.

I have limited my recent comments to other issues which are not related to whether or not homosexual acts are sin.

You, in the post above responded to issues that I have not addressed in recent posts.
