Honestly, Lazarus, I am baffled that you've challenged another's opinion of his/her own life experience.

To me, it is as if you've asked, "What's the favorite food your mother made for you as a child?" And then, questioning the person who gives his opinion on why he didn't choose your favorite dish. Then, going so far as to say the first opinion given was wrong and that the latter is the only right opinion.

Not for even a moment, would I believe that my opinion is any more valuable than your's. However, when it comes to how I formed opinions about my life, I do think my opinion outweighs anyone else's.

I was under the impression that you wanted opinions about what it means for Caucasians to be Caucasian in America.

I could not presume to give opinion from any perspective but my own; I could not presume to analyze another's opinion without having first "walked in his shoes."

I someone says to me "I think that all Chinease people are lazy. Its has been my experience that Chinease people never want to work or do anything"

Are you saying that I should not challege that perception of the chinese?....what are you saying? That is their opinion of their life experience.

They have the right to state their opinion of course.
