Which award would net you the most money?

Answer: The Nobel Peace Prize is considered one of the most prestigious awards on the planet. The prize money can be traced back to the award’s creator and the inventor of dynamite, Alfred Nobel, who stipulated that his estate (worth $197.4 million today) would continue to accrue in value by investing in “safe securities” back in 1895. The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded on December 10 each year (the anniversary of Nobel's death). The winner receives a diploma, a gold medal, and a document confirming the prize amount. As of 2013, the prize is worth 10 million SEK (about US $1.5 million).

Answer: Happy Star Wars Day! And May the 4th be with you. The day arose from a pun which was shared by Star Wars fans, who would say “May the 4th be with you”, on the day. James Earl Jones is the actor who voiced Darth Vader in the “Star Wars” film franchise. As a child, Jones developed a severe stutter, which he overcame during his high school years. He went on to star in a long list of successful movies and plays, and became widely known as the voice of the CNN network with his famous tagline, "This is CNN".

Millennium Falcon

Answer: The Millennium Falcon is a fictional starship in the Star Wars franchise. The ship is primarily commanded by Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and his Wookiee first mate, Chewbacca. The Millennium Falcon first appears in Star Wars (1977), and subsequently in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), The Force Awakens (2015), and The Last Jedi (2017). The ship also makes a brief cameo appearance in Revenge of the Sith (2005). Prior to Star Wars, the Falcon was in the possession of Lando Calrissian who lost it to Han Solo in a card game several years before the events of the film A New Hope.

KENTUCKY DERBY

Answer: The Kentucky Derby is the longest running sporting event in the United States, dating back to 1875. The race is often referred to as "The Run for the Roses" and has continuously produced “the most exciting two minutes in sports”; uninterrupted, even when coinciding with profound historical events like The Great Depression and World Wars I & II. It is often called "The Most Exciting Two Minutes In Sports" in reference to its approximate duration. The 144th Kentucky Derby will take place today, with 20 horses competing for the $2 million prize.

SEPT 16

Answer: In countries outside of Mexico, the holiday Cinco de Mayo is very popular and has gotten labeled as Mexican Independence Day, however this is incorrect. The fifth of May actually marks the Mexican victory over France in the Battle of Puebla. September 16th is the day Mexico claimed its independence and began the war against Spain, also known as Mexican Independence Day. Independence Day is a Mexican holiday to celebrate the day Miguel Hidalgo is believed to have made the “cry of independence” in the town of Dolores, on September 16, 1810, which started a revolt against the Spaniards.

John Madden I believe?

Answer: Madden NFL is an American football video game series developed by Electronic Arts Tiburon for EA Sports. The game is named after Pro Football Hall of Famer John Madden, a well-known color commentator for NBC Sports and formerly a Super Bowl-winning head coach during the 1970s with the Oakland Raiders. Among the game's realistic features are sophisticated playbooks and player statistics, and voice commentary. As of 2013 the franchise has generated over $4 billion in sales. Despite Madden's retirement as a broadcaster in 2009, he continues to lend his name to provide expertise for the game franchise.

BOB BARKER

Answer: Bob Barker is one of America's favorite television game show hosts. He hosted the longest-running game show, The Price Is Right, for nearly 35 years. He also holds the record of being the oldest man to host a weekday television program. As Adam Sandler found out in "Happy Gilmore," you do not want to get Bob Barker angry. Believe it or not, the guy has a black belt in karate and actually trained under Chuck Norris for eight years. In his autobiography "Priceless Memories," Barker says his sparring with Norris once resulted in four cracked ribs.

MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS

Answer: The term spam is derived from the 1970 Spam sketch of the BBC television comedy series Monty Python's Flying Circus. The sketch is set in a cafe where nearly every item on the menu includes Spam canned luncheon meat. As the waitress recites the Spam-filled menu, a chorus of Viking patrons drowns out all conversations with a song repeating "Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam… Spammity Spam! Wonderful Spam!", hence spamming the dialogue over and over again. The Merriam-Webster dictionary attributes this Monty Python sketch as the source of the word, which was first used in 1994 to refer to unsolicited email sent to a large number of addressees.
