Yep, there seems to be some fluidity to the word "prophet." And I would say Peter & Paul were prophets. Seems no one in the NT was referred to a prophet after Jesus ascended. But clearly, they spoke for God. The time issue is interesting. they believed it would be in their lifetime. Several generations of SDAs believed it would be in their lifetime and here we are! Again, time seems to be a fluid item also!

EGW was committed to the Second Coming in 1844, but I do not recall that she ever had a vision before 1844. So, on that point, she wasn't in error.

For the RCC thingy, stayed tuned. In fact, you may even wish to follow Vatican websites and other religious news sites. There are definite rumblings going on that suggest that the RCC/Evangelical Christian world persecution of faithful to God is on the horizon. Just take into account that "fluid time" thing!
