But the fact remains that people kill people - not guns.  Law-abiding citizens may give up their guns; but that would leave them defenseless against the criminal and terrorist element (like those who carry out school and church shootings).

The armed citizenry is one of the reasons an armed invasion of this country is likely to fail! Much of the entire nation is an army. Good luck to the people with no arms at that time. FWIW, I do not own any guns, yet! I have been told it would be a good idea to carry one, by a policeman!

I don't believe he is a vile man.  I believe he WAS a vile man.  I believe he is taking his office seriously; and is trying (and succeeding) to get the things done he promised to do in his campaign.

I actually believe the exact opposite. We need this country in turmoil, so that it gets so bad that the evangelicals will start saying how bad this country is and we need to get back to being religious, 10 C's in school, etc, etc. I see this all unfolding before our eyes.

Was he or was he not a vile man. Oh, wait! We have all been vile and sinners. But let's stone Trump first! I agree that whatever he MAY have been, he does take the office seriously and he is doing what he sees as the best way to save this country. Many rise to the occasion, which the Dems apparently have not as they have screamed hysterical lies for the last more than two years. And AG Barr is now on the hunt!

That said, the country is not savable and has already passed the tipping point as has the rest of the world. Only a matter of time until we are seriously into the end time events. There may be ups and downs as the whole situation goes out of control in its downward dive to destruction. The problem becomes how to stay above the fray. I tend to believe Ellot Waggoner when he, over one hundred years ago, said this world is not for Christians to control. Our world is in heaven, so leave this world to the perishing.

You mis-read me, Marri.  I hate the thought that children are killed; and my heart aches for the families of the dead and injured.  It IS horrible.  But the fact remains that people kill people - not guns.  Law-abiding citizens may give up their guns; but that would leave them defenseless against the criminal and terrorist element (like those who carry out school and church shootings). Criminals and terrorists will NEVER voluntarily turn in their weapons.

There is an increasing number of mass death due to people running cars and trucks through pedestrian crowds.  If that trend grows, will we ban cars and trucks?

The sad thing is you nor I can stop it, and all the guns in the world won't either! I fear YAHWEH more than human beings. This all about sin Joe that is showing how terrible it is and people that have guns have been kill to, that's what you don't see. In the Muslim countries, innocent children are being killed, in South America, innocent children are being raped and killed, in Afrika, innocent children are being raped and killed, in Europe, innocent children are being killed, in America, innocent children are being killed. Violence and guns are everywhere and been armed have not stopped innocent people from being killed. I can go to a grocery store, or a movie house and be killed. You cannot stop sin, it is everywhere, what I am trying to present is freedom in YAHSHUA! Each one reaches one that's it! If you think this is bad, buckle your seat for the Time of Trouble and THE WRATH of THE LAMB and THE FATHER! Who will be able to stand, I want to stand I am tired of this evil world and I choose to stand on THE ALMIGHTY MOST HIGH SIDE! You see we were told that sin causes death and some of us will die, if I do then I die in YAHSHUA!  If I am selected as one of the 144,000 then I will continue and reap the harvest of souls. This world today is not my home, I am just passing through! I chose to obey and worship THE MOST HIGH and l left behind the life of crime. I was raised in a good home, we were middle class, I went to church school, I had the best education. There is no excuse for what I did, I was not some ghetto kid. My mother gave me the best of everything, I have been truly bless as a Black woman! Anger and hatred of how my ancestors were treated was my excuse to turn my back on THE MOST HIGH! Not anymore and I despise guns but I cannot fringe on others who have a right to them. But not assault weapons and how many guns do you need to protect yourselves?

Yes, now they use cars and trucks but guns are still the worst mass killing! When you got a man who cusses, is angry, lies, cheats, covers up, brags and more we have a problem. But, I am only one person and my goal is to encourage people and give them hope through YAHSHUA!  So again, I urge everyone here to pray for each other, humble yourselves, love one another and obey YAHWEH'S Commandments! That's what I have to offer and I truly love everyone here, even though's who I might differ with. Love is my gift that YAHWEH so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only SON, that we all will not perish if we choose to love and obey! That is all I can say, Joe!

Blessings to everyone!

Nor do I; but that's because mine were stolen. I don't intend to replace them.  That being said, I support the 2nd Amendment added to our Constitution that gives citizens the right to bear arms.  Practically speaking, any serious attempt to take guns away from the general citizenry would likely result in a civil war or revolution where a lot more people would be killed by guns than presently are.

Still refuses to acknowledge millions of babies terminated. Just consider them non-human and they don't count. Many of whom are near full term survivable. Guns are not the most lethal of murder weapons being used today.

The policeman advised me to carry one because I like to walk along a road that goes thru an area also inhabited by bears. And they have baby bears with them! The bears also get into trash cans in our neighborhood and generally make a nuisance of themselves. One person looked out his window one morning and watched a bear walking away carrying his garbage can!

Unfortunately, it takes a big gun to stop a bear. I already figured a 22 was not helpful with a bear. A gun store owner said a 357 would just make them mad. So, it looks to be a 45. Those are pretty big guns.

We got bears in our neighborhood as well. Unfortunately, it is against the law here in CO to shoot a bear unless it is attacking you.  A guy here is in jail cuz he shot a bear that was attacking his dog in his back yard.

I would have no problems with a bear going the other way, but if coming towards me I would have to assume the worst.
