Oh, by the way, Derek Chauvin, the cop who killed George Floyd: He was a registered Democrat, working for a Democrat police chief, in a Democrat controlled city, in a Democrat controlled state, voted into office by Democrat voters, and protected by a Democrat controlled union. He had 18 complaints against him and was let off multiple times by a Democrat prosecutor and now Democrat Senator and failed Democrat presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar. Here you demonstrate a great ignorance of the health care system that is quite astounding. A surgeon cannot just operate on someone, especially neurosurgery, in their garage with no assistance! It takes extraordinary medical equipment and extensive teams of other health care personnel to do the work he did. And a "flunky" surgeon? You amaze me at how you will try to destroy someone who doesn't follow your narrative. Dr Carson has done surgeries that are astounding.

After retirement, Dr Carson attracted the attention of the voting public enough to have even been a presidential candidate himself. I recall the words of Sister White how God's chosen will be put into positions of power. She also writes much on those who criticize those who have been called by God to step into such positions. I cannot say for sure that is the situation with Dr. Carson, but I would not want to be in a position of having to answer to God for why I did try to trash His chosen ones if He had actually done so. 

As far as President Trump, two Black women are huge fans of President Trump and I happen to have been a long time fan of Diamond and Silk! You will probably choke watching them, but you will notice that none of the speakers in this post are White. They are all Black, probably part of that nearly 40% of Blacks who now support Donald Trump!

Many years ago (high school) I read a book called "Mandingo." It covered generations of slaves in the Antebellum South. There was a situation in the plantations where there were the "field blacks" and the "house blacks." Seems the house blacks lorded it over the field blacks. Unfortunately, many now compare those plantations to the Democratic party and compare the likes of Jackson, Sharpton, and others to the house blacks and the rest of the black population to the field blacks. And the field blacks are expected to vote Democrat. How dare they go against the "leadership" of such as Jackson and Sharpton! It really is time for you to get off the Democratic plantation.

Mandingo is a novel by Kyle Onstott, published in 1957. The book is set in the 1830s in the antebellum South primarily around Falconhurst, a fictional plantation in Alabama owned by the planter Warren Maxwell. The narrative centers on Maxwell, his son Hammond, and the Mandingo slave Ganymede, or Mede.

See what I mean about being personal, now I have high jack! Why because I start out with the Biblical things and other folks can constantly put down black people daily and it is alright. But when I stand and provide real truth I am consider a high jacker. It is alright because again it is time to move out the kitchen when it is hot, instead showing what have I said that was not true? No Sign Of Antifa So Far In Justice Department Cases Brought Over Unrest

You are welcome. My whole point in life is for all of us to check out everything. When you see what made Harriet Beecher Stowe inspire to write her novel, it does open your eyes. I provide this in the hope so you will know the story behind the story. So, the Italian had it hard for awhile also they were Catholic's! Yet, eventually all of these people moved and left the Ghettos. The Black slaves were totally different, they migrated a lot to the north. They took over the Ghettos around the early 1900's but even though they lived in the North the treatment was totally different and the South was even worst. Did they proper at time yes, but jealousy stopped them and the Irish Cops especially in Boston, Detroit and Chicago was horrible. They like there White counterpart formed gangs and the major problem drugs arrive, during the depression the male had to leave the home. The women needed food for the children and had get on welfare! Why? No male providers and many of these Black men did not return home! If  you read behind the story there were more White's on welfare and on food stamps than Blacks, but it isn't spoke of.

To Finalize; I am not making any excuses for Black on Black crime I am speaking of the story behind the story. Poverty, suppression, liquor and drugs are located everywhere, run down schools. no male in the home makes a depress, desperate and rejected people. In some places like Atlanta in the South, were a glitter of hope! But, in the rest of the South, the Jim Crow laws and again police brutality ruled the day! There is so much more behind the story but this is just a glimpse. There are Black people who seek power, who are crude and ruthless. But not the majority, we want to work have a decent home,  have a good education from elementary through college, be respected and to be treated fairly that's the story behind the story!

You did not understand. 8% may have voted for the president in the 2016 election, but some polls are now showing nearly 40% of the black community is supportive of the president today.

There are many verses in the Bible and comments made in SOP that condemn exactly what you continue to do to these men. And it does not speak well for your own character.

Apparently, you do not really understand what emerging from a pandemic lockdown is all about. Many business are now having people sign these wavers. If you knew the complete history, you would know that the parties switched. I have written about this in this forum. The Republican Party today were the Dixie Democrats that you speak about and the Democrats today were the Republicans who were the true Lincoln Party.

When people discuss the “big switch” in party platforms, a lot of people only think about the 1968 presidential election between Republican Richard M. Nixon and Democrat Hubert Humphrey, who had been Lyndon Johnson’s VP. When the pressures of losing the Vietnam War forced Johnson to rule himself out of the running, his vice-president stepped in, and Nixon defeated him. During that election, Nixon employed what was deemed the “Southern Strategy” Nixon seized on racial tensions in the south and sought to get more white southerner’s into the GOP’s fold by hinting at sympathy to their resistance to the civil rights movement.

Things like desegregating schools, and the Voting Rights act of 1965 left conservative Southerners who made up the Bible belt and other conservative enclaves throughout the country susceptible to voting for a candidate that was was not a Democrat, the party that had traditionally been in the majority in the south up to that point. If the map below, taken from an academic paper on the Southern Strategy below, wasn’t labeled for the 1968 election, you might believe it was a map of the highest concentrations of Trump supporters, except the Rust Belt probably isn’t quite yellowish/red enough. But you get my point. Wallace was a hardline segregationist. That’s a racist to you and me, and he also ran in ’68 as an Independent.

 Political analyst and Nixon campaigner Kevin Phillips, analyzing 1948-1968 voting trends, viewed these rebellious Southern voters as ripe for Republican picking. In reality, the 1960’s were a continuation of the ideological shifts being felt within the parties that started decades earlier. Teddy Roosevelt was a Republican that crusaded for — and eventually succeeded in — breaking up big industrial monopolies like Standard Oil. He was known as a “Trust Buster.” It’s hard to imagine a Republican today being in favor of putting such restrictions on the almighty free market, isn’t it? His distant nephew, Franklin, when he became president, was similarly more economically progressive like Teddy, but he belonged to the Democratic Party, not the Republicans like his uncle.

They are also more fiscally conservative and against the very same kind of big government expenditures that the president who gave them political life — and ultimately gave his life for them to hold onto. The Democratic Party continues to push for those Lincoln-esque big government programs — he might actually be impressed with attempts to bring high speed rail to the country — and they are more socially liberal. For some reasons there are pockets of Republican Land that deny this connection and obvious ideological shift. People like author/film maker Dinesh D’Souza, who wrote a book just last year denying the Southern Strategy or party platform switch.

Board of Education took place in 1954 to overturn what the southern states "legislatures" (who were still Democrat) had enacted as law. Robert Byrd served as an Exalted Cyclops of the KKK and the last time I checked I haven't seen any Democrats screaming to wipe his references in history nor have I seen people grousing about other noted Democrat politicians singing his praises. 

I lived in the South for 3 years and the racist stuff I observed came mostly out of the old school democrat party folks who still use terms like "the war of northern aggression". I'm not saying that there are no GOP racists, racists exist in every racial group in the world. What I am saying is that the Democrat Party is the only main group in America that's turned it into an institution. I fear however that the Democrat Party has nearly squandered all of it's political capital. If Trump does win what will you do?

You want to believe that versus history records before you were born. That's fine I happen to live in the time of the Civil Rights Movement. I saw the changes that my mother and other Black people did with Nixon. We were taught the reconstruction history in school. I saw with my eyes that a lot things were removed after I graduated in the 60's from the history books. No one I know of does not agree that the life of a Black person doesn't matter. I know many Black people and count many among my friends (like spending time together, going out to dinner, having a drink, talking on the phone over nothing that important). What matters here in the context of the BLM movement is CONSEQUENCES. 

If a black person (like any other person) is caught during or after the commission of a crime AND resists arrest, try to get the Cop's gun, whatever - that person is likely gonna get what's coming to them, period. Look, if the Police entered a zoo, walked up to the Ape paddock and gave a lawful order that the Chimps needed to line up against the wall and when the chimps didn't comply the Police opened fire everyone would be outraged, yes? 

The reason everyone would be outraged is that it wouldn't be reasonable to expect Apes to comply with the verbal commands of Law Enforcement. 

The BLM's group takes the position that a black person that's caught in the commission of a crime and refuses to accept the consequences of their actions is justified in resisting arrest or even going for a knife or gun. BLM is essentially saying a black person who resists arrest shouldn't be expected to comply with the verbal commands of law enforcement  any more than an ape is expected to - this is what the optics of the situation look like to MANY blacks, Hispanics, white's, Asians, etc. 

And society is pretty much getting fed up with it. 

The BLM movement is doing more to insure the re-election of Donald Trump than anything Trump could do. People look at the riots, the looting and realize that if they want law and order the best way to get it is vote for the guy who has been offering Portland, New York, Seattle, etc. help in mitigating the violence. 

I'm not black so I don't know what its like to be black - I do however have black friends and none of them have had "issues with the police"  - they have suffered from being stereotyped (followed around inside of shopping stores), looked at more closely by the police, etc. This isn't racism, it's just the consequences of stereotyping and unfortunately, in big cities, Blacks are over represented in crime  when compared to their minority status in size. Like elections have consequences - allowing ones self to be stereotyped has consequences. 

I'm a believer in Civil Rights, and have spent thousands of hours of my own time and money engaged in trying to get vindication for a large number of blacks that were falsely accused of something - what stood in my way was the Democrat Party.

I did watch it and I placed it into context. 

The fact is that Trump wasn't the recipient of a "peaceful transfer of power" and literally everything the Democrats said Trump was guilty of was in actuality what they were guilty of themselves. Did I think Trump did a good job tonight? No I didn't I was embarrassed for him actually - I was also sickened that the best foot forward the Democrat Party could put forward was Biden. 

If you want to proffer an apologetic as to why Blacks shouldn't suffer the consequences of violating the law when literally every other racial demographic understands this you're contributing to the stereotype problem. Here is a hint, when the Police stop a person who has violated the law that person shouldn't be combative, they should be compliant.

In my younger days I did some stuff I shouldn't have done and I took a few lumps from L.E. for my stupidity. I'm sure my life would have turned out very differently had I been programed to believe I could rob, shoplift, rape and whatever else I wanted to do but was justified in resisting arrest or being combative to law enforcement.

I have been looking at the problems in our nation for some time now and have condensed it into three areas fo concern. I will look at each one of these problems individually. These problems are:
1. The unhinged hatred of President Trump even by SDAs across a variety of forums (no, Adventistan is not my only "forum" or info source I look at) and I am dismayed at the level of malevolent hatred for the president that exists. We only need look at at stinsonmarri's lasted diatribe.
2. The politcal left and their hatred of President Trump and their attempts to undermine his presidency in a manner considered by some to be treason.
3. The extremists on the left who claim to be so concerned about certain lives that they deem important while downgrading other lives and even engaging in their own very blatant forms of racism. The very end of this one will be a shocker!

I note these things in the light of writings from Sister Ellen when she wrote, "As we near the end of time, falsehood will be so mingled with truth, that only those who have the guidance of the Holy Spirit will be able to distinguish truth from error. We need to make every effort to keep the way of the Lord. We must in no case turn from His guidance to put our trust in man." Maranatha, p 192 I tend to believe this occurs not only in the spiritual world but in the political world as well. Long ago, the Prophet Isaiah wrote, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20
