darlene Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 How can anyone get bored? There is so much to see and do! There are so many people we can help and do things with. I suppose one could sit in their house and watch TV. Now, that would be boring! Quote

Moderators LynnDel Posted September 21, 2006 Moderators Posted September 21, 2006 It's very windy here today. I love wind. It's a good excuse not to bother with your hair for the day, and feels so good blowing through it, anyway. Today I am especially thankful for all that God has done for me. He always has His hand on me, guiding me in the way that I should go - even when I'm not aware of his gentle, loving presence. I have no idea where my path leads, but He knows, and that is enough. Sometimes it is hard to sit in church and sing about God's care always being over us, because the hurt in me can't help but come to the fore and I think, "Where was He the day my sweetie died?" But behind it all, I've known and still know, almost two years later, that He has a purpose even in loss. LD Quote LD
Nicodema Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 it was windy here yesterday. when someone takes something away from me that is a great portion of my life and happiness, i just want to destroy them. no offense, LD. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot

This is almost a reflex reaction - speaking in general terms. Not necessarily the wisest or most satisfying in the longer term though. Just my conclusions from my own life. :) Quote
Nicodema Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 i find destroying those who maliciously attempt to harm me MOST satisfying. usually i don't have to even get my hands dirty to do it. just give their wheel a spin and all their little karmic bills come due at once. chronos comes knocking, breaks a kneecap or two, makes them pay in blood and flesh and suffering and pain. very satisfying indeed.
