Is this a narrated slide show, or will the narrator be speaking on camera with possibly other characters speaking on camera, with still or video backgrounds?

(I lived near Cleburne about 6 years. My parents still live there.)

No its not an animated slide show. It will be a narrated movie. Best I can describe is maybe a cross between The Never Ending Story and a Ken Burns documentary. Its going to be a full drama with full dialog for christ and satan and played out scene by scen in the eys of say satan. But its also not going to be a slide show of photos. Its going to have characters. You will be able to see Satan as an angel of light interacting with Jesus and the other angels and his fall and decay over time. But its dramatized into a hollywood movie either. We really have good counsel on how to present things in the Spirit Of Prophecy. Hope that helps some:)

By the way I am working on the character design at the moment for the Angels, Satan and Christ at the moment. I will try to post some images when I get a chance.

Do you know Jim Pappas of Company One or Stage I Drama?

Pappas recently put out some drama cds,...I think they are called Pilgrims Progress or Christina Walk or something along those lines...It's an adapation of Bunyon's "Prigrim Progress". Pappas has done theater all over California, or used to. He has directed a couple of films for "Faith for Today" {?} or the Tucker family ministry.... The films weren't that good, but the theater was awesome!

His advice is always, " Strive to make your creation the best it can be" and "Don't settle for mediocre". Too many christian films have settled for mediocre...And always look for the person who has a complaint against your project. He is either jealous or being trueful and telling you just how bad your project really is..LISTEN TO HIM and EVALUATE his complaints against your project carefully.

Not sure about mayflower. Since its the plan of redemption and since it will not be 20 hours of documentary its important to only spend time on the parts that are important to the plan of redemption. Also the less known parts will have to have more time spent on them while things most people know can be done quickly.

Do Angels/Messengers have wings? Flight by these extraterrestrial beings doesn't necessarily imply feathery bird-wings.

In the Bible, angels and wings are not associated together, only Cherubim and Seraphim have wings. The 4-faced Cherubim have four or six wings, the fiery dragon/serpent-like Seraphim have six wings. Satan's true form, I believe, is the latter. He can, however, overpower weak or willing minds with his thoughts and make them say and do whatever he wants.

The only place in the Bible describing a being associated with the word "angel" is Rev 10. This being has a sun-face and feet like pillars of fire, similar to other beings described in the Bible but not specifically called angels.

Rev 15 mentions 7 angels dressed in white robes with golden belts around their chests.

Maybe some think that angels look like men/women with bird wings, but in the Bible humans had a tendency to become extremely frightened during their close encounters with these Messengers from God arriving from space. Would any of us shake with fear or faint if we encountered a human with real bird-wings?

This is no small project to take on. You must have a fair-sized team to share the work, costly electronic/computer/camera equpment, and a very large budget.

I'm not sure the budget has to be as big as say 10 or even 5 years ago. Like the beginning part of the teaser, you can download the hubble videos online, and edit them together with the soundtrack on Final Cut Express, or even a free software like imovie for mac.

What excites me is that before, if you wanted to make a film, it was very difficult. One had to get investors, expensive equipment etc. But nowadays, all you really need are a mac, a dv camera, and your imagination to make an independent film!
