I am unaware of Sister White's writings saying that the 'wicked' will be raised at Christ's second coming. The Bible specifically points out who will be raised when Jesus returns for His second coming in 1 Thess. 4:15-17. These verses tells us that when He comes that 'the dead in Christ shall rise first, and then they are caught up together with the redeemed who will not see death to meet the Lord in the air......'. That is the first resurrection. There will be no reason for the wicked to be raised, for they will not be going to heaven. The wicked will remain in their graves, to include the wicked who are still alive when Christ returns and who are 'struck down by the brightness of His coming'. They will remain in the earth for 1000 years...the millennial period, at which time they will be resurrected. See Revelation 20, verses 5-9. Your reference to Daniel 12:1-3 tells us in verse 2 that when it comes 'time when His people shall be delivered are those who are written in the book', a reference to the Book of Life. Then in verse 2, it provides a description of those who will 'awake', and in what category...'some to everlasting life' (the righteous as part of the first resurrection), and some to shame and everlasting contempt', (the wicked resurrected at the second resurrection). You wrote - I know that SDAs say that only those who physically crucified Christ will be raised in a "special resurrection", but Hebrews 6:6 says that those who "fall away" "crucify the Son of God afresh and put Him to open shame". So I believe that all of those who broke covenant without repentance, and those rejected Christ will be raised at the Second Coming to face judgment. Response: It is not SDAs that say there will be a 'special resurrection' of those who were part of the crucifixion, for it is confirmed in Revelation 1:7, which says, "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen". The 'every eye' mentioned in this verse refers to those who are alive when He comes, as well as those in the graves who are resurrected as part of Christ's redeemed. God bless, Bert

Personal comment, my thought...what we see happening is a human condition, regardless of race, creed, color or religion. As a christian, I believe that it is the DNA of sin. Since the beginning of the Bible, selfishness, my definition being 'only concern for ones own self and personal desires', has been expressed in a variety of ways and quite often violence, maybe most often. Finger pointing or blame will give us no solution but a perpetuation of same. Anyone for solutions, real, everyday ones???

I don't really support the idea of a professional clerical class; so I guess I oppose women's ordination (and men's ordination as well).

I wish him luck. The immunity from prosecution that he may be assuming is his is not unqualified or limitless. That is clear for the very language of Article 6. The exception clause that precedes the the immunity provision he apparently wants to claim. He needs to consider carefully whether reading/ revealing classified material into the Congrssional Record could fit within "except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace". Without looking into this any deeper, I would make the educated guess that it does. If revealing classified information is any one of those, he is not immune from arrest and prosecution. Depending on what the information is about, it could fit into at least one of those, maybe more.
