    Life in Motion

Take a look at the many posts about what is wrong with the church, government, et, etc. A person posts the article and then waits to see what others will say about it. They have not checked the accuracy of validity of what they are posting, just simply want a reaction so that 'conservative' vs 'liberal' comments will be made. Are we going to spend our short life reactiing to every thing we see and read or take a positive approach to life by projecting(proactive) the best that we can give to others. Do we 'push' others to think, act or think as we do(reactive push back) or demonstrate what can be?

    Exact Earth Age

From post # 5: The above is an important point which should be remembered in other contexts, such as the number of the Children of Israel who left Egypt. Post # 6, is also important.

    only SDA preaching?

The SDA Denomination clearly has a place in "end time." But, that is not to say that the SDA denomination is alone in doing the work of God in End Time. God has people inside the SDA church as well as outside the SDA Church. God will use the SDA Church to accomplish God's will as will as use others to accomplish His will.

    only SDA preaching?

my question comes out of the fact, both historically and currently, that many Adventists self-flagellate over the fact that Christ has not returned yet - as if it is solely the fault of Seventh-day Adventists and our lack of faith, infighting, and/or unChristlike behavior that the Second Coming has not occurred.. It's not my view that the above is why Christ has not returned..

    only SDA preaching?

I have no definitive answer Pam but Sister White wrote (someplace) that "whoever preaches Christ let him preach" The HS will follow up with the truth. Just my 2-cents ...I shall defer to the more authoritative persons on this board

Four things found in most Emerging Church movements.

Bonnie has directed us to an article by Fernando Canale. He is a conservative member of the teaching faculty of the Andrews University Seminary. While one may disagree with his conclusions, his scholarship must be acknowledged. When he speaks, or writes, his arguments must be considered. Is he perfect and always 100% correct? No. No human is ever fully correct. In the above cited article, Dr. Canale says: I find the above to be of value on this subject. There are other good points that Dr. Canale makes. He correctly points out that the so-called "emerging church" consists of many aspects of belief and practice and that probably no part of it consists of all aspects. I might not agree with every point that he makes. But, I clearly agree with his focus on the Bible as the foundation for our belief and practice. I agree with his conclusion that God's people to day must find a way to reach a post modern culture in a Biblically acceptable manner. I agree with his conclusion that elements of the so-called emerging church may be appropriate and others may be inappropriate. Pick and chose carefully.

Women Ordination and Christmas on Dec.25

What is this? Is it right of course it is. Woman have been equal form the beginning. Most of you start with Gen Chapter Two and not with One. And ELOHIM said, let US make man in OUR IMAGE, according to OUR LIKENESS; and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth. And ELOHIM created the man in THEIR OWN IMAGE; in IN THE IMAGE OF ELOHIM He created them. THEY created them male and female. Gen 1:26, 27 Enough of this nonsense, and read the Bible and stop philosophizing the issue. Men and women have always been equal and sin is the problem. Only the husband and not all men because of her actions cause this change as a curse. However, the curse was a punishment to Eve. YAHWEH said to the woman, I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception; you shall bear sons in sorrow, and your desire shall be toward your husband; and he shall rule over you. Gen 3:16 If you would read the Text before the punishments were mete out, you will understand they had a way out. Yes, they both were curse for their sins, but YAHSHUA would be their way out. YAHWEH was showing they could get back on the right path if they would start again and obey for now on. This included all of their offspring before and after YAHSHUA would come and die! And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her SEED; HE will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.Gen 3:15 Women have every right to be forgiven and equal with men. The ground has given many men good products, including Cain. He just did not like obeying the rules. These curses would continue to come if man and women refuses to obey. Many women in the Bible were prophets, EGW was not thou, she said it very clear that she was not one. But, again she play a leading role and she was anointed and call by YAHSHUA to be HIS messenger! Paul also call a woman an a apostle. YAHSHUA also had women as disciples. THE HOLY SPIRIT landed on all of them in that upper room. These all were continuing steadfastly in prayer and in supplication with one mind, with the women, and with Mariam the mother of YAHSHUA and with HIS brothers. Act 1:14 Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen who were prisoners with me, who are well known among the apostles, and who also were in Messiah before me. Rom 16:7 This is what we should all work toward obedience and strive to be anointed to finish the work. That will include both men, women and children. Blessings!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?index=186&list=WL&v=aL9pok2a41o&app=desktop Once again, the school of Hillel opposed women's ordination. That is where we get the opposition from. NOT from the Bible. The school of Shammai supported the ordination of women.
