    Bible Reading mks Liberals

This reminds me of the several statements by EGW about how Jesus was viewed as too liberal by the Pharisees and how they were the conservative ones. (And I get the impression that many reactors to this topic read the source article to about the same degree or with the same level of comprehension as the source study discovered most professed Christians do with their own source book...)

A new perspective on Genesis 1

I like the creationist film "Darwin's Dilemma" which highlights the "Cambrian Explosion". The DVD is available on amazon.com. I have the 3 film set titled "The Intelligent Design Collection". It's the best I've seen.

What is the One Project and its true purpose.

They claim it is Christ they are bringing but they are bringing something else, and it clearly appears they pervert the gospel of Jesus Christ. We must be a church "rightly dividing" what is presented, in order to keep our understanding, not only of the gospel, but of the Bible itself, in proper perspective. We cannot change it to cater to the current fads or morph the "celebration style" of worship under another name to fool the people. God knows and He will judge these people who are doing this, it is at great peril to their own souls and even worse to the members who don't see what they are doing. I was in a celebration church for years and never grasped the danger till afterwards, Ellen White was slowly muted then taken away, the music with the band and drums became the driving force and focus, the doctrines became watered down till Adventism was almost no longer even part of the beliefs, and we were left open to current fads and strange doctrines, introducing another Jesus, another Spirit, another gospel. That is why we see Adventist churches where any sin, or abomination to God is now become acceptable, come in as you are was the overriding mantra we were given, but they forgot about the repent and sin no more and be saved part. I was young and gullible then, and Willow Creek was but a name and celebration but a style, and it has morphed and mutated. But as the saying goes.. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me, but fool me the third time, I don't think so.

Are we still suspicious towards the religious right?

If I, as a white man, were to make a general statement about African-Americans or Latinos, or Native Americans (Indians are from India) like this, I would be deemed as a racist. If this kind of rhetoric doesn't work both ways, it is racist.

    The Rise of Islam

Because God wants us to remind ourselves that He is in control; and we look forward to the literal, final "Day of Atonement" redemption of the planet where God's will WILL be done on earth; just as it is in heaven!

    The Rise of Islam

Since the word "men" was explicitly linked to "those who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads", then it stands that these men tormented for 5 months are not Christians, but Mohommedan converts from Christianity having to deal with the abuse heaped upon them for being second-class citizens. They sought to save their lives by converting, yet found themselves living a fate much worse than dying for Christ would be.

    The Rise of Islam

Pr. Berry is referring to the 2 time prophecies of the 5th and 6th trumpets, and their application by Josiah Lich to the Ottoman Empire's affliction of the Fallen church beginning in 1299, to its ending that affliction and surrendering same by accepting the protection of Christian nations on August 11, 1840. It should be studied by every serious prophecy student, as God used this fulfillment to assure the 2700 day prophecy would end exactly as He said it would, 4 years later in 1844. The various Mohammedan peoples still chaff at this, and though their strength seems to be rising today, I notice that these Middle East nations are still under to protection of professed Christian nations - they appeal to Russia, Britain/America, Germany, and/or France for help and support for their regimes to fight against the surging Mohammedan uprisings...just like the Ottoman Empire did to protect itself from the same kind of uprising from its Egypt province in 1840. God is still ultimately in control. Blessings,
