Which GOP Candidate Has The Highest Minority Support

With a sample that size the error margins dwarf the findings. These numbers mean literally nothing. Will look for a better poll. Not one closer to my views, one with a credible methodology.4 points -

This poll is so ridiculous and not worth the paper it might be printed on. The whole poll asked 10 black people their opinion. 4 picked trump and of course that is 40%. 5 picked Carson. This is a bad poll of conservative Republicans with a grossly misleading headline. I'm sure I could work up a set of data and declare that 40% of white men like sex with children.2 points -

Well, I see your point, but I really do not need EGW on this issue. The EGW comments that I quoted are in harmony with my understanding of the Apostle Paul's views. This issue on the humanity of Christ is very important because it directly effects the gospel we present. Keep in mind that according to Paul there's only one gospel. See Gal 1:6-91 point -

I seems we are talking about the ROLE of Christ at different times. WHEN He incarnated as a human being, to live a perfect life and die a perfect death, He was not - at that time - the judge or executioner of justice. WHEN He returns in glory, THEN He will be coming to act as judge, and as the executioner of judgment. Because He did not execute anyone, or call for their execution, WHILE He lived on earth as a man, does NOT MEAN that God's Law had been set aside. When Jesus fulfilled the TERMS of the Sinai Covenant, He then would "inherit the land". He would rule "the land" of Israel, and Israel would "rule the nations". Jesus would recover the DOMINION which Adam lost to Satan. With the DOMINION comes the right to rule over everything within that dominion. With the DOMINION comes the right to say just who will be welcome to live within His DOMINION, and who will not. Hence the right to judge. The right to judge comes with the DOMINION. (Christ was NOT given DOMINION right after He returned to Heaven.) Christ does NOT YET have the DOMINION. It will be given to Him at the judgment of Daniel 7, which does not take place until the END of 3.5 years of persecution, at the "time of the end". Daniel 7:14 "Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed." Concerning those who are to share in Christ's dominion: "Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him." (Dan 7:27) Concerning Satan: Daniel 7:26 "But the court shall be seated, And they shall take away his dominion, To consume and destroy it forever." _____________________ DURING THE TIME OF ISRAEL (before they had a King): This was a theocracy. The Son of God - serving as mediator for the Father, DID act as lawgiver, as judge and as executioner (in some instances). God had dominion over Israel, BECAUSE they had entered into a Covenant with Him. _____________________ I repeat: We have to consider the different time periods, when we look at the actions of Christ at different TIMES.1 point -

This one has been debated in other threads, many times!! Whenever I see you restate your belief, I feel I must respond with mine. I believe that one MUST hear the truth and RESPOND to the truth with BELIEF. Infants cannot believe. Mentally disabled folks cannot believe. Ignorant pagans cannot believe, because they have not HEARD. None of such people can be given eternal life - not UNTIL they BELIEVE. Which means they must be resurrected to continue their physical lives, must then be taught the truths of God, and then must BELIEVE - before they can be given eternal life. I believe all of those who did not have the maturity, or the information to CHOOSE, during their physical lifetimes, will be resurrected at the 8th millennium, as "the rest of the dead". They will then HEAR the truths of God, and then have to CHOOSE whether they will worship and serve Christ of LORD. Those who refuse will come up as the army of Gog/Magog. God will defend His City, with fire. The final Great White Throne judgment, and the final "lake of fire" will come AFTER the Gog/Magog Battle. Just coming from Egyptian slavery, just being "newborn" as a nation, the LORD had to enforce the Law (Covenant) He had just given. Not to enforce His newly given Law, would have nullified it. The people would have no respect for the Law, or for the God who gave it. These were people - for the most part at level 2 on the moral maturity development chart. I'm referring to Kholberg's Stages of Moral Development. I have a study on my website, which looks at Yahweh's relationship with Israel, in light of Kholberg's Stages. http://www.prophecyviewpoint.com/htdocs/37-Kholberg.pdf Rachel Cory, prophecyviewpoint.com1 point -

Here is a link to the poll data - http://www.scribd.com/doc/294193100/WND-GOP-Poll-12-28-15-National-w-All-Parties A total of 445 individuals polled. 19 self-identified as Democrat. 365 as Republicans. 61 as Independent. 229 self-identified as conservative or very conservative. 63 as moderate. 25 as liberal or very liberal. And 25 declined to say. 390 self identified as white. 10 as Black. 31 as Hispanic. And 16 as Asian/other. Gender - 230 Male and 214 female. This poll is obviously substantially skewed to conservative Republicans. The demographic data that comes close to the general population is gender. But race is not reflective of the generally population, but perhaps closer to being consistent with the the demographic mix for conservative Republicans - mostly white. Just take a look at the crowds that are attending the leading GOP candidates rallies. Sometimes it is hard to find anyone not white. Bottom line is that this really is far from a reliable or meaningful poll.1 point -

Here is 1 Asian that can be added to the poll. I was initially enamored with Trump, but the more he opened his mouth, the more I became disgusted. Yes, I'm disgusted with Washington too. The politicians have become a huge problem for the country. If lying Hillary and bombastic, jingoistic, egomaniac Trump are the eventual nominees, I'll just not vote this year.1 point -

"The nature of God, whose law had been transgressed, and the nature of Adam, the transgressor, meet in Jesus, the Son of God, and the Son of man." E.G. White, Ms. 141, 1901. "He took upon His sinless nature our sinful nature...." E.G. White, Medical Ministry, 1902, p. 181. As God, Christ's nature was and is, sinless. But as the Son of man, He assumed "our sinful nature". Notice how Ellen White states it was "our" nature, not Christ's. It belonged not to Him, but fallen man. "To bring humanity into Christ, to bring the fallen race into oneness with divinity, is the work of redemption." SDA Commentary, Vol 7, p 927 Ellen White apparently understood the gospel. This proves to me that Ellen White was not a false prophet, even though she has somethings that are hard to understand (especially in the area of Christian living).1 point -

You need a new crystal ball if you think a Trump win is more to my liking or view. I belong to a very active forum for online sellers that has a membership in the thousands. Day by day Trump gains in popularity. It is now running at least three to one for Trump/ People are getting angrier by the day and many would like a good slap to the face for those holding office now. Contrary to the "experts" here and elsewhere Trump was not just a flash in the pan. Still there and still very popular among many. It would almost be funny if this weren't a presidential election. Just a word on polls Bravus. Towards the end of the governor campaign, small polls and polls that people scoffed at as being in Ventura's pocket started to show a shift but was dismissed.Right up till the end,the democrats were gleeful that Ventura would give a win to democrats by splitting the vote. They were in absolute disbelief when he won. We ended up with our clown governor because of the democratic vote1 point -

Despite Dr. Larson's quotes, he missed some (and yes he and I talked about this) and a careful study shows that Mrs. White's views were very balanced on the traditional view that Jesus had his own unique nature, in some points like but also unlike Adam before the fall and both like and also unlike us after the fall. Adam's appetites, desires and passions were naturally under the control of reason and his body could not suffer or tire. Jesus could be tired and hungry and suffer. His appetites desires and passions were not naturally under the control of reason he had to moment by moment keep it under the control of reason just as we need to. But there is in us a disposition to think we are for ourselves by making less of the outside world, to esteem ourselves more highly than others. Jesus did NOT have the slightest aspect of this in his nature.1 point -

Why did God condemn the man who blasphemed in the wilderness? Because God had condemned that wicked and unbelieving generation to death, but on the begging of Moses, God commuted that sentence to life imprisonment in the desert. God was not trying to save them, but to destroy them. But that did not mean they could spend 40 years blaspheming Him. Thus the man with an even worse attitude than the others, was condemned to death. By contrast, the woman showed no hostility to Christ. And She was the type of person He had come to save.1 point -

I have to disagree that justice from a divine perspective never rests on grace. If God's Justice never rested on grace/mercy, Adam and Eve would never have survived the Garden and we would not exist. Salvation would never have even been considered. From a human perspective the idea of justice without mercy may be very true. But I am becoming more convinced that when Scripture is speaking of God's justice, it is inextricably wedded to mercy. God's Justice is always an act of mercy. Not necessarily or obviously for the wrong doer, but it is about having mercy on the victims of the wrong that is done. His supreme objective is restoration, of humanity and his entire creation. The end of the story in Revelation is a final declaration of restoration - "I make all things new." From a Hebrew language standpoint, a frequent parallelism, especially if in reference to God, is justice and mercy. The Hebrew puts them together as two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other.1 point -

Kevin, One thing is for sure in my psyche is that I am opposed to most all of Calvinism and reject the present day system of Lutheranism. That leaves the community of Wesleyism which is more as to how I tend to lean. There are no Methodist churches anywhere around us where we live that honor the holiness of the seventh day, and also accept the sleep-death of the dead. So I would never feel at all comfortable in Methodist church services for various reasons. My first being taken aback in a small level of shock when I starting fellowshipping with SDA's was their elitest pompousness of boasting of their being God's chosen ones who are better than all other denomonations or christian-called groups. You wrote..... "While I understand that it is the issue between wanting to esteem ourselves more highly than others, of making less of the outside world. As opposed to loving the world as Jesus has loved it. We are both Wesleyans. But like Dr. David Larson said they are on Wesley's right and we are on Wesley's left. But we have the Wesleyan connection unlike the more evangelicals like Ford who are more Lutheran and Calvinistic in their approach." Yes, indeed I for one have been helped by your 5 part contribution of explanation for the chronological happenings in the SDA camp over the decades. Now I have an almost orderly version in my mind of Adventism development. Thank you for teaching us here with your postings.1 point -
