    Test Your Knowledge of Islam

I missed 4 (according to the "correct" answers on the website); but I think a couple answers had more than one correct answer.

    First Time Bubbie

Sally Saltzman was thrilled by her role as a first time Bubbie. And she was very protective of her daughter Sarah’s baby girl Becky. One cool afternoon Mrs. Saltzman dropped by to see her little Becky. Sarah and a friend had taken Becky for a walk in her stroller and were just coming up the street. As soon as they reached Mrs. Saltzman, she bent down to admire Becky and, in her fussiest voice, remarked, "Your little head is cold. You should have a hat on." Sarah looked knowingly at her friend and said, "You owe me ten bucks."

    Speaking of Identity Theft

there isn't anything to prevent someone from filing a tax return under a fraudulent name, if they have your basic information.. I'm sure you've read this, but here's what the IRS states to help prevent it from happening: Tips to protect you from becoming a victim of identity theft Don’t carry your Social Security card or any documents with your SSN or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) on it. Don’t give a business your SSN or ITIN just because they ask. Give it only when required. Protect your financial information. Check your credit report every 12 months. Secure personal information in your home. Protect your personal computers by using firewalls, anti-spam/virus software, update security patches and change passwords for Internet accounts. Don’t give personal information over the phone, through the mail or on the Internet unless you have initiated the contact or you are sure you know who you are dealing with.

    How to understand Paul

Paul circumcised Timothy so that Timothy could be acceptable in the Jewish circles where Paul preached the Gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; Paul knew that Timothy did not have to be circumcised to be saved, neither was Timothy under any bondage because his motive for circumcision was to not give offence while preaching the Gospel.

There sure seems to be a lot of famous people dying of cancer lately... I suppose the idea that sick or old people will reach a milestone like Christmas or a birthday before passing away might be true here

    How to understand Paul

When someone comes with a pet doctrine, and they have to use Paul to prove it, then my suspicion is that their doctrine is either wrong, or unimportant. If it were important, the rest of the NT would prove it, in particular, the Gospels and teachings of Christ.

It hurts to see saints go to sleep. All they did was bring joy to the lives of others.
