  1. Donald Trump's rise is all the proof people need as to the nature the values of many "Christian" conservatives. Their Christianity is cultural rather than Biblical. Many Conservative Christians are merely defending their cultural dominance rather than the truth of God's word. It's about having their economic and social interests served rather than serving humanity and winning the lost. The central message of Jesus has been abandoned and is even despised.

10 reasons Jesus would never win the Conservative Christian vote

I see a list of 10 fallacies, not a list of 10 valid reasons. Take the fallacy about "free" healthcare for instance.... Jesus truly healed people free of charge, but He didn't provide healing to every person on earth. He wasn't a "come here and I'll give you 'free' healthcare if you vote for me" hypocrite. Socialistic healthcare is not free. Someone pays the cost of the treatments.... It comes out of the pockets of taxpayers. All that article does is show the author's depth of hatred for conservatives for it is made up of a pack of lies.

    Adventist on Alone survival series

the comments remind of the "senior survival" trips we had at academy... Spring Survival was required. But I also got talked into going on the Winter Survival where we spent 5 days on Mount Hood. Worst five days EVER. Snow, freezing rain — made the snow cave construction a bit arduous....the tea from the inner bark of the trees wasn't bad. Really, the only good thing was that I lost about 12 lbs.

    Adventist on Alone survival series

I can't imagine the difficulties this group has signed onto! What horrible circumstances -- constant rain, cold, can't eat any shellfish because of red tide, bears, steep terrain. The rain makes starting and fueling a fire difficult. The contestants don't get a cent unless they win the $500,000, nothing per episode. I'd be with the man that quit the first day. Note to self: Do not go to Vancouver Island during the Time of Trouble.

    Non-Disclosure Prayer

I think the method, time and place of praying should be up to the individual. If some want to close their eyes and bow their heads to say grace at a public restaurant, there's no reason they shouldn't do that. I remember as a little girl, when my family was traveling and we stopped in restaurants along the way, we always had prayer before our meals. But that was back in the 1950s and 60s when people didn't seem to get so offended at what others might do.

  7. Yes- Jesus didn't say that wealthy people wouldn't be in heaven, just that it would be hard for them to get there.
