Some may not understand this post

Stan: It is clear from your focus on this subject that you may very well have some ongoing fears that some monster may come out of the dark and the shadows to bite you and that you must be vigilant to defend yourself from such. I can understand how this might affect your ability to sleep at night. For, who knows what may be lurking under the bed. Never fear, my friend Stan: Regardless of whether or not you have future posterity, we here in Club Adventist will remember you. No such feared monster will be able to remove this memory from our minds. You shall live on. If not in your children, you will continue to live in our memories.

What makes God real to you?

I think a lot of people have experienced God with their senses but a) were unable to recognize it as the Hand of God, b ) were able to recognize it as the Hand of God, but let doubt settle in and "reasoned" the experience away as coincidence, or c) recognized it and chose to share, but faced ridicule and rejection from others so much so they stopped sharing for fear of being labeled insane. And yep, I fall into one of those 3 categories.

    Am so so sorry

Well, I've been having problems logging in and staying logged in, and I haven't received a mailing in some time. I still exist right? I'm beginning to think that halo over my picture might be real. <grin>

    Sermon topics: Milk vs. meat

Any of those topics can be milk or meat depending on where the hearer is in his/her journey and how the topic is handled - superficially or in depth.

    Sermon topics: Milk vs. meat

The basis for this discussion is in 1 Corinthians 3: Repeating, in modern language: Apparently milk is for those who can't chew yet. Does a person ever get past the worldly desires, does a church ever get past jealousy and dissension? That is obviously the expectation. As such, the speaker may need to assess, as Paul did, whether the listeners are spiritual or worldly, and adjust the diet accordingly.

    Why I quit tithing

Once I thought doing the sambaing thing - sending the tithe money where I wanted to spend, but Mrs. White in Testimonies to the Church states that we should support the organized church(paraphrased). If you are a SDA member send the tithe money to SDA conference and let them spend your tithe according to the Bible policy.
