...and rightly so. Are you so confident in your interpretations that you fail to see that of others; which is much clearer and easier to understand. There is a theory called Occam's Razor which basically says simpler more straightforward theories are preferable to complex convoluted ones because they are more testable. While Occam's Razor is not a provable fact, it is a worthwhile test of the robustness of alternative theories. I do believe that the Occam's Razor principle applies here. Who's interpretations more clearly represent scripture - the Obama is the beast/antichrist, or almost any other prevailing interpretation? God told Joel that in the last days, His Spirit would fall upon all men - not just you. If the Spirit is indeed falling, how come you seem to be the only person on this forum who accepts your theories? It's much easier to see that radical Islam (maybe even the papacy) is a better candidate for the beast/antichrist than Obama. Obama is powerless. Both our allies and enemies look at him as weak. Both the allies and enemies of Islam consider radical Islam to be powerful and dangerous - one of the most existential threats to the stability of humanity since Hitler (maybe even ever).

Even animals can at least "learn" new ideas. If our attentive feline wishes to sit on my papers, she has learned to move if I whisper in her ear "off!" Likewise I gain most of "my" new ideas from reading books. Lessons taught me by others. Sometimes a new idea will surprise the brain........... but where does it come from? Ah.... Only the brain knows!

All very good responses to the abortion issue. Simply put. It is wrong. It is murder. But simply concluded - It will not stop. At least not until Christ returns. So I ask the question that came to me as I listened to Gianna - what can I do. She takes about the many support groups and services available around the country. I would love to start a home for unwed mothers who are contemplating abortion that serves also as a home for those children when they are born. I'm sure there are already homes like this out there but it is obvious that more are needed. I'm not sure where to start - but I'm sure that if this is what God wants me to do He will make it happen. But there is a practical place to start. If i know someone in that position - unwanted pregnancy and contemplating abortion - I can offer my support without coming across as judgemental or interfering. Or offer that support even after they've made the choice to have the abortion. We might not be able to stop abortion globally but we can chip away at it bit by bit locally by using a very powerful tool God has given us - love. Because we who are His children are love just as our Heavenly Father is Love.

The fact is neither you or I were there.Your claims as to what happened and why really dont count.Neither do mine. It sounds as if the outcome could have been prevented. Was it racism of the caller? I have no idea but so far I dont see anything to indicate that.Was it racism on the part of the PO? Was it poor judgement? Dont know. But neither do you. Do your accusations reflect your bias against PO and 911 and those that call for assistance? I believe it is. With your bias against 911 it is a wise choice to not involve them even if your life is in danger. It might be hard for them to operate in a manner you would find acceptable.
