    Mules? or hot springs?

What does your Bible say Anah, the descendant of Esau, found in the wilderness as he pastured the donkeys? Does yours say he found hot springs or mules? This is one of those terms in Hebrew that are labeled uncertain.

the article had a lot conjecture, and I suppose it could be termed, "rude" -- but no more so than than some of the garbage being put out regarding Trump... both sides are being hoisted by their petards, imho

    Mules? or hot springs?

I found this rather interesting. That he might have found and fought giants. Matthew Poole's Commentary Mules; so most understand the word Jemim, which is no where else used, and give this sense of it, that he found out the way of the generation of mules by the copulation of a horse and a mare. Others render it waters, that he found out some springs of water, which in those hot countries were rare and precious; or hot waters, some hot and medicinal springs. But the Chaldee renders it giants, and the Samaritan version Emims, a sort of giants mentioned Deu 2:10,11; who also were neighbours to the Horites here spoken of, as appears from Genesis 14:5,6; and therefore might, according to the manner of those times, make inroads one upon another. So Jemim is put for Emim, either by an apocope of the first letter, or by the change of the Hebrew letter Jod into Aleph, both which are frequent among the Hebrews. And the sense is, that Anah the Horite found out the Emims; that is, he met with them, or came upon them suddenly, and smote them. In this sense the word finding is oft used, as Judges 1:5 1 Samuel 31:3 Psalm 21:8 Isaiah 10:10.

    Mules? or hot springs?

I have here the Intervarsity Press' Bible Background Commentary, which mentions that "hot springs" is based on the Vulgate, whereas Jewish tradition translates it as "mules" and credits Anah for learning to crossbreed horses and donkeys. The Jubilee Bible renders it that Anah "invented mules" in the wilderness. Many of the translations I have say the he found hot springs. I don't know if I am any closer now than when I began in understanding this.

    Mules? or hot springs?

Ya, hot springs where they found donkeys, seems to be what most Bibles other than the KJV say. Commentaries also say the same even explaining the horses were not in this region and the knowledge of cross breeding was not existent at that time. SDA Bible Commentary suggest the same thing.

    Mules? or hot springs?

that's interesting! The KJV says he found mules, but most of the other versions read, "hot springs" (which sounds more like what it's supposed to be) (Genesis 36:24)

    Trivia Quiz?

That was my pick as well. I remember a big hullabaloo about the last episode. Answer: Goodbye, Farewell and Amen served as the 256th and final episode of the television series M*A*S*H. Closing out the series' 11th season, it first aired on CBS on February 28, 1983. A whopping 105.9 million people watched on average over the two-and-a-half hours, with that number peaking at 121.6 million in the final six minutes. The episode surpassed the single-episode ratings record that had been set by the Dallas episode that resolved the "Who Shot J.R.?" cliffhanger. From 1983 until 2010, Goodbye, Farewell and Amen remained the most watched television broadcast in American history, passed only in total viewership (but not in ratings or share) in February 2010 by Super Bowl XLIV. It still stands as the most-watched single episode of an American television series.

Is Faith an Emotion or Thought?

One's emotions is just as fickle as the weather and as changeable as circumstances. Faith as a verb is an action word, therefore as act of the will. Faith as a noun has its source in God and must be received, which is also an act of the will.

    Ezekiel's Temple- a Picture

In a little book by eg white, she describes the temple being placed outside of the New Jerusalem on the earth made new. A place immemorial where the sacrifice of Christ is remembered, and it is filled with the glory of God and a place where all can come and enter and see. The throne of God remains in the city. No, the temple is not the place of intercession any more. Christ has laid aside His priestly role for eternity. He remains the third member of the Godhead, and the Head of the human race. He has a Dual identity forever. There will be a temple in the country and the throne in the city, both glorious with the unspeakable glory of God.
