What does Hillary Clintons choice of Lena Dunham as a speaker have to do with Trump and his lack? The only way those that support Hillary on this forum seem to be able to do so is to attack Trump as if somehow he is responsible for her behavior. Can you defend her honesty and integrity as a politician without shifting to Trump? The major difference between the two is we already have a clear look at Hillary as a corrupt politician Her treatment of the women that came forward concerning her husband is only a very small part as "she campaigns for women's causes". While I wouldn't expect much change with Trump, we don't have the same knowledge of Trump as a "leader" yet.

how is abortion worse than an IUD preventing an implantation of a fertilized egg thus leading to no pregnancy? Both are preventing the birth of a possible Madam Curie, Michelangelo, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr, etc. I feel that the abortion issue is more of a personal struggle than it is of a theological issue. When it's made into a theological issue, it seems that the views of others get imposed upon someone without due consideration of that person's situation. just my 2¢

Have i got good news for you -- A great many on this board have had viral infections resulting in the cold and/or the flu. but as it turns out they do not have "virus DNA" in their healthy cells or in the DNA that they pass on to their children. Nor do they have entire organs that are strictly the DNA of the virus etc. So then no chimera and no hybrid resulting from getting a cold or the flu. Nice that it works that way.

While an increase of 1.06 million infants every year would be a tremendous boon to the Pampers and Huggies industry, as well as the ongoing increase in needed supplies, what about the ones whose families would be required to go on public assistance because they couldn't provide for the children. What about those infants born with severe abnormalities, with the attendant ongoing medical needs? Yes, those things would require an increase in medical specialty employment. And of course, there would be an increase need for more teachers. But then there would also be a need for an increase in available jobs down the line. What is needed is contraception information... I think the example of prayer that Jesus Himself gave: "The LORD's Prayer" is a good answer to praying in the name of Mary or to any other now dead "saint". We pray TO God the Father, saying "forgive us our trespasses". So Jesus was telling us to ASK God the Father FOR forgiveness. John 16:23 "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you." (NKJ) John 15:16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." John 14:13 "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

if i refuse the drawing of the Holy Spirit , if i reject the grace provided that i might live i will perish. it is not complicated. If i harden my heart rather than allow the Spirit to make it tender towards God and towards those he died for.... if i reject the eternal Life God offers me then since i am a creature i cannot to sustain myself i will perish. repentance is one of the gifts God has to give us, like faith....the Holy Spirit, and hope... and love... eternal life, wisdom, and more.... these are gifts... if i refuse the gifts i am without. In the gift of Christ is given to everyone in the world every gift. Our experience of God is progressive advancing all the time... giving and receiving... more and more...

Following up on what you have said, Pam, I would add that some believe that they are presenting saving truth and get very indignant if others reject their version of truth. A person could get very self righteous about what they present and do much harm. Where is the role of the Holy Spirit? The farmer pointed the seeds, neither bringing rain or sun in order for the crop to prosper. I am also reminded of the admonition to Paul, if your words are not believed, shake the dust off your feet and move on. Our issue as humans, we went direct, immediate, verifiable proof our truth is accepted instead of allowing the growth process.

Jack was my pastor, he lifted up Christ wonderfully. In Christ is everything we need to be whatever God asks us to be not only this life but for eternity. What manner of love the Father has given unto us that we should be called the sons and daughters of God. He offers us everything we need to grow up in him. The love of God, the plan of salvation is not static It is living. Like the flames of the burning bush it is living fire. We grow from faith to faith from glory to glory. Our transformation and our changes in our comprehension of God does not mean God changes but that we can profoundly change as we continue to walk with God and meditate upon his wonderful goodness. We cannot contain God in our memories or in our mind, but we can know enough of God to come to love, worship, repentance, and surrender to His will as we understand it. We require fresh revelations, a present Savior, daily bread to live. We are born, we breathe, and we grow because His grace has provided everything we need to be alive, and we choose to breath or not breathe His goodness towards us as sinners and live for eternity. God has set His love on every human being... provided everything they need to live forever... everyone's salvation has been established beyond the reach of any kind of harm or destruction, to be received or rejected individually. We do not establish our salvation by responding to it, we respond to it because it is already fully established. I am sorry i do not see error in Jack Sequeria's ministry of the Gospel. Not every mind thinks alike and this is ok. There are lots of kinds of people to be ministered to and so we need lots of different kinds of Christians to relate the Love of God in many ways.

I have lived through all of these, and remember seeing some of them on the road in their day. We have street meets here every week and a lot of them show up in the car shows even today.
