    Right or Left?

We are coming to another election. I believe that many if not most Adventists think of their votes in terms of their eschatological consequences. Which platform will more likely bring about the feared scenario of lost religious freedom? Conservatives (right) or the Liberals (left)?

Sully - my Maltese - needs your prayers

Sully is a male Maltese. He was a rescue puppy. Around two years of age he started having health problems. His first problem was thrombocytopenia. Then he had a growth on his eyelid removed. Then patella problems came along and now trachea issues. So far I have spend over $10k for his medical issues. He still needs patella and trachea surgeries. This alone will cost over $5k. Personally, I've had enough. I'm trying to get my finances in order because my wife and I are retiring within 4 years. I'm afraid if he can't be treated with medication that I'm going to have to have him euthanized. Any suggestions? Sully needs your prayers. Robert

Daily Lift by Rabbi Zelig Pliskin

#838 Resolving Indecision If a person is indecisive about which of two courses of action to take, the question to ask is: "Which choice will bring more honor to the Almighty?" The reply to this question is the path to choose. (Rabbi Shmuel Tzvi of Alexander - Eser Zechuyot, p.93; Rabbi Pliskin's Gateway to Happiness, p.259)

Sully - my Maltese - needs your prayers

I wonder: Would his trachea surgery be a permanent solution? There comes a time when one thing just follows another and it is enough for the poor animal.

Sully - my Maltese - needs your prayers

Robert, as a dog lover I surely do empathize with your dilemma. Those little Maltese do tend to have patella subluxation problems, though from what I've read, most aren't serious enough to warrant surgery. The trachea issue, though... is it the "progressive" tracheal collapse that Sully has?

    Right or Left?

The Left is less likely to be an immediate threat to religious freedom since they are actually for expanding freedoms (except perhaps when it comes to guns & Christian practices that are deemed discriminatory). But I can see where both would/could be instrumental in the eventual restriction of religious freedom as debbym opined.. The mounting crimes, corrupt politicians, and the perceived "anything goes" agenda of the Left will arouse people to demand some kind of moral revival which the Right will gladly support. The proposed Sunday Law was originally rejected by the EU, but now its proponents are pushing it as pro-family, good for the environment, and one day of rest will be beneficial for individual health & spirituality as well. These are or can be common grounds for both Right and Left.

    SDAs Prepare for Hacksaw Ridge

In all of this, we owe a man named Stan a vote of thanks for the part that he had in getting this movie filmed. It took him years of work. We should not forget the contribution that he made to the life of the SDA denomination.

    Right or Left?

Since the Word of the Creator is not adequate to answer your interests, where would you like to develop your theories for better evidence? Just asking. God is Love!~Jesus saves!

    Trivia Quiz?

I've got no idea! My guess is Kubrick Answer: John Landis is a director known for his comedy films, his horror films, and his music videos with Michael Jackson. He directed National Lampoon's Animal House, An American Werewolf in London, Trading Places, Michael Jackson's music video Thriller, The Blues Brothers, and Beverly Hills Cop III. He was approached by Michael Jackson to make a video for his song, "Thriller". The resulting video significantly impacted MTV and the concept of music videos; it has won numerous awards, including the Video Vanguard Award for The Greatest Video in the History of the World. In 2009 (months before Jackson died), Landis sued the Jackson estate in a dispute over royalties for the video; he claimed to be owed at least four years' worth of royalties.

Civil Comments in a Forum Like This

while I don't particularly enjoy reading some posts that people write (and definitely don't want to see vulgar language), if all subjective rude and snotty comments are eliminated, a forum (or other online site where comments are made) would run the risk of losing viewers/participants due to the rubber-necking factor.
