    Appellate Court Rules Against Florist

i agree it is no different then providing flowers for someone who is atheist, or Muslim, you are not condoning their religion or values by providing wedding flowers or cake... then cashiers in stores would not have to ring up a wedding cake at the cash register if it was an apparent gay couple... or apparently Muslim... this is not right. God is in charge and We are not the judge God is. the roman soldiers were very repulsive in their demands and lifestyles, but jesus said carry their load two miles if they ask... by doing this Christians were not condoning what the roman soldiers did in their lifestyles or belief systems... There were believers who served the Caesar's in Rome and they did not participate in the sins of their employer by doing so.

    Another Missing Verse?

How about John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Pretty easy to infer that whoever doesn't believe doesn't have eternal life. How about Hebrews 10:39: "But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved." Pretty easy to infer that one must have faith in Christ before they are saved; since faith is mentioned first in the verse. How about Romans 3:22: "This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe". Pretty easy to infer that faith is a prerequisite for righteousness. I'm confident that you will find some way to explain this away.

Can a Christian be demon possessed?

Yes, possible....but that would be based on choices one makes. (I'm not in agreement with the idea of "generational curses" made by Satan.) Not particularly "influenced" if by that word you mean "led" — but as Joemo stated, definitely, a Christian can be harassed by demons.

A sign from God? You tell me.

Joe: I stated that I considered you to be honest, but wrong. If that is an attack on you, so be it. The bottom line is: You made a false statement about Snopes without any attempt to determine if your statement was true. As a Christian, which I consider you to be, you have an obligation to seek to determine the truth of such statements. I hope that in the future you will attempt to do so. Anyone can be honest and wrong. That is how I consider you to be.

Can a Christian be demon possessed?

I absolutely believe "YES" is the answer to both questions. People who are already demonically possessed or harassed can become Christians. I have witnessed this when Native American shamans become Christians; or when higher-order wiccans (or others who worship other gods) become Christians. There are generational and cultural curses that get passed on. Once one becomes a Christian, they become a target for demonic harassment. Satan himself is a demon (probably a higher order evil spiritual being); and his temptations are demonic harassment. No matter what we face - adverse natural circumstance or supernatural harassment - our God is stronger; and He will always give us a way through (not necessarily around) any temptation we face if we will blindly trust Him.

Hymie the robot from Get Smart

While he did not like the show, I really liked Mr. Terrific where he also played, as well as his work as the robot Hymie on Get Smart where he was so concreate. I was saddened to hear that he died.
