I try to do the same (sometimes unsuccessfully). My goal is to simply state my current beliefs and the reason for them. I don't fault Adventism (or most other denominations) for their articles of faith; but I also don't mind stating my own view. In my opinion, there are very few fundamental articles of faith that are salvational. I am grateful for CA because it provides an opportunity to throw new ideas at the wall to see what sticks, as long as discussions don't get personal .
