    Kingdom of AdventiStan

Hmmmm. about Fellowship in the new url or name of this site. The basis in meaning is having a foundation of shared friendship and support of the others in the group. There's shared interest in the topic offered. It's nice to be where there's a feeling of friendship and support between people.

    2 Keys Unlock Rev. 9:15

I believe the LORD gave us the description of events to come, and of Beast persecutions, etc. to HELP believers hang on to their faith, while events around them were causing massive distress. He was telling them not to be surprised by those awful things. Those things will happen. And His description of those things helps us to know that He does see the future. He will be there for us - when we meet those future trials. When we actually SEE those things come to pass, we are assured that the END will also be as He described - victory! Through His prophets He has also warned of deception - almost perfect deception, near the END of things. We don't have to perfectly understand the deception. We just need to understand God's LAW along with the grace offered ONLY through Jesus. If we understand those things, then we will recognize any message that does not match up. If a Christ-like "messiah" shows up, who tells everyone that it does not matter which day they "rest" or come up to "worship him" , we will recognize that his message does not match. If he draws all the worship to himself, and does not direct the worship to the Father in Heaven, we will know that does not match up. IF he teaches that all religions are equally "good", we will know that does not match up. We just need to know the basics, and know them well.

    We May Need a Revival

Historically, revival has come during and immediately after great hardship and trial. Throughout the OT, Israel seemed to go through a revival after they had been dominated and persecuted for a few decades. The early church thrived on the blood of its martyrs. Look at how many people went through "revival" immediately after 9/1 - churches were packed. Where are those people now? Look at how many people went through "revival" during and after Katrina? Where are they now? How many people prayed like crazy during Harvey and Irma? How many people quit praying when Irma wasn't as catastrophic as predicted (still one of the worst storms in history). Do we ask why God allows such things; or do we thank God for the miracle of turning the full potential wrath of Irma away from the most developed and vulnerable parts of the state? This sounds horrible; but I think we need the tribulation to start to inspire true revival. When we - the church - are so hard pressed that we have nowhere to turn but to God, there will be revival. people my age and younger in the western world have never experienced true catastrophe, war, chaos, and persecution. Many in our society say "We're doing just fine on our own, think you very much. I am increased in goods and in need of nothing. God doesn't bring anything to the table for me - I'm succeeding on my own". Just like the ancient Israelites, "...everyone did as they saw fit." (Judges 21:25). Isn't most of society doing this now; and teaching the next generation to do the same thing?

    Trivia Quiz?

What was the deadliest hurricane in U.S. history? Great Miami Hurricane 1926 Hurricane Andrew 1992 Hurricane Katrina in 2005 The Great Galveston Hurricane of 1900 I'm guessing when they say "deadliest" they mean "deaths?" In that case I believe it would be "The Great Galveston Hurricane of 1900!"
