    The Secret Rapture

Ezekiel 28:14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones." Many believe the "King of Tyre" (the ruler over Tyre in the Spirit realm) is Satan, also called "the ruler of this world" by Christ, in John 12:31, 14:30, and 16:11. The "ruler of this world is judged". The dominion that he stole by deception will be destroyed forever (Daniel 7:26). This is "the end that is decreed".

    The Secret Rapture

stinsonmarrie, I agree that the 70 weeks are 70 weeks of years (490 years); that is clear from the Hebrew. However, that doesn't mean that the 2,300 evening/mornings or the 1260 days are equal to 2,300 years or 1,260 years respectively (at least to me it doesn't). Secondly, you seem to interpret the word "Messiah" in Dan. 9:25-27 as Christ. The text does not say that. In fact, the Hebrew word messiach simply means an anointed one. That anointed one could be the antichrist - anointed by the world. Verse 27 implies (at least to me) that this "messiah is the one who makes desolate; or brings about the abomination of desolation. I also noted that you used an alternate translation in Dan. 9:27. ..."he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." Other translation use ..."he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple[j] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. Using the mainstream translation seems to indicate that wrath will be poured out upon this particular "messiah". I read every single English translation of this verse; and most of them imply that this "messiah" is a desolator.

    Holy Troublemakers

"Holy Troublemakers" is a good title.... except that it harkens back to an old television program that I detested (but my brother loved) — Batman.... I can just hear Batman's sidekick, Robin, in my mind, exclaiming, "Holy Troublemakers, Batman!"
