    The Free Vacation

A travel agent in Boca Raton Florida looked up from his desk to see an old lady and an old gentleman peering in the shop window at the posters showing the glamorous destinations around the world. Business had been great for the agent that week and the dejected couple looking into the window gave him a rare feeling of generosity. He called them into his shop and said, "I know that on your pension you could never hope to have a holiday, so I am sending you off to a fabulous resort at my expense, and I won't take no for an answer." He took them inside and asked his secretary to book two flight tickets and a room in a five star hotel. They, as can be expected, gladly accepted, and were on their way. About a month later the little lady, Adela Diamond came in to his shop. "And how did you like your holiday?" he asked eagerly. "The flight was exciting and the room was lovely," she said. "I've come to thank you. But, one thing puzzled me. Who was that old guy I had to share the room with?"

    Worthless Advice

Marvin Mandelbaum was waiting in the examination room of Dr. Gold, a famous specialist. "So who did you see before coming to me?" asked Dr. Gold. "My local General Practitioner, Dr. Cohen,” Mandelbaum replied. "Your GP?" scoffed Dr. Gold. "What a waste of time. Tell me, what sort of useless advice did Cohen give you?" "He told me to come and see you."

    The Breakfast Special

David and Shirley Felder were in Israel to visit family and went out for breakfast to a restaurant where the special was two eggs, a bagel and a coffee for 6 shekels. "I’d like the breakfast special," Shirley said. "But I don't want the eggs." "Then I'll have to charge you 8 shekel because you're ordering a la carte," the restauranteur warned. "You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?" Shirley asked incredulously. "I'll take the special." "How do you want your eggs?" "Raw and in the shell," Shirley replied. “I’ll take them home with me.”

    Apostolic Succession

What used to be called "Last Rites," by many, is now called the Sacrament of the Sick. My listing was taken directly from a Roman Catholic book of Canon Law. However, it was published at a time when the term "Anointing of the Sick," was used in such publications. As to Protestant Sacraments: Historically, as Sacraments, two have been recognized: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. The others that you have listed have typically been called either "rites" or "ordinances," but not sacraments as there is a theological difference. I posted a reference to an article that goes into some of this stuff. https://www.adventistarchives.org/should-ordination-be-considered-a-sacrament-in-the-seventh-day-adventist-church.pdf

  5. When Jesus touched them - they were NOT dead. The healing or the life began in them, just before His touch. It came from God the Father. In effect - He did not touch the dead, or lepers. Or maybe He was just not contaminated by them - as evidenced by the healing or resurrection.

  6. He did not cast a stone BECAUSE He did not condemn her (He forgave her.) He had authority to do that - (given to Him by His Father).

John McCain: "No Freedom without Freedom of Religion"

John McCain has pass and I'm glad, he is not in any pain anymore. I am sad because a great giant has died. It hurts because a man who cared about civil rights is gone. I know many good and bad people die, but it hurts when the good ones go. It hurt when my mother past two years ago. She like Mr. McCain had the kind of cancer that you find it and quickly they are gone! My mother had a tumor, I had an operation thinking I could get heal quick, so I could care for her even better; I almost died. While trying to heal, within two months she died. It just happen, just like Mr. McCain. I feel for his family, because they do not know like I do that the dead knows nothing. I know he is in the ground waiting for the second coming of YAHSHUA. It is my hope that this man will rise in the first death. I do know if he had the opportunity to know about the truth. I do know that he was a just man everybody respected him. Trump will never know or understand what this man did for his country. Rest in peace John McCain and I hope and pray that we will meet when YAHSHUA comes in the clouds of GLORY. I would like to meet and hug you for standing up for justice and being what I truly feel that you are a child of THE KING! My prayers to his family and friends, may they all be bless!

John McCain: "No Freedom without Freedom of Religion"

Thank you for this article. I truly respect John McCain, even though I might not have agreed with his political views. I will never forget how he stood and told that woman the truth about Obama. It is people like him who show love to people of all nationality. I was sad today when I hear the news that he is stopping his treatment. This man was beaten almost to death and refuse to be sent home because of his highly recognize family name. I pray for him and with his family may YAHWEH WILL be done. Again thank you! Blessings!
