I must have missed where in the passages it says 144,000 and/or that they were Adventists? Or am I just reading to fast? Thanks in advance.

CHOSEN PEOPLE At this point of human history, I believe the Lord's "chosen people" are "those of faith" in Jesus Christ - regardless of ethnic origin. THEY are "the sheep of His pasture". Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." (John 10:27) "He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and CHOSEN and faithful." (Rev 17:14) 1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a CHOSEN people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (NIV) Peter is writing to BELIEVERS. The sooner we separate from the idea that God gives some sort of preference to those of Hebrew descent - the better. I personally believe the idea to be preparing the world for a masterpiece of deception. The deception being that Christ returned will rule the world from (and through) the nation of Hebrew descendants, during the upcoming 7th millennium. That being said, the Lord has not forgotten or "cast away" all those of Hebrew descent. He will save a remnant - those of faith. Writing about ethnic Israelites: Romans 11:1-2 "I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. " Romans 9:27 Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved." (NKJ) The "children of Israel" includes BOTH ethnic Israelites AND "Christians".

I totally disagree JoeMo, the evangelicals have trump wrapped around there fingers, they control him like a puppet! He feeds off of them because he knows if he wants to stay in office he needs them more than they need him. They would not have been able to control Hillary, they need someone to stop all the abortions, same sex marriage, etc., etc. Right now Christians are being persecuted, not for the day they worship, but just in general. Whereas someday it will be about worship, the day we worship, and that will be Sabbath keepers!! Now will trump still be in office? I don't know that, but for me, it will be someone the evangelicals can control, will that be a democrat or republican? I don't know, my bet it'll be a republican! Anyway as you mentioned, no sense in arguing!! Just my opinion.

I don't care either. Nor do I care if there is an organisational split or schism. God's church wasn't established by the filing of incorporation papers, the adoption of corporate by-laws and working policies and the registration of trademarks. I'm done with funding the corporate offices at the union, division and GC levels where this petty turf war is being waged.

I do not regard myself as a "spiritual Jew". I regard myself as an Israelite - "grafted in". There are ethnic Israelites, and there are spiritual Israelites. BOTH are "grafted in" by FAITH. I don't know which tribe I have been "grafted in" to. It is doubtful that every believer has been grafted-in to Judah. More likely Ephraim. Just one reason why I do not wish to belong to a group called "Messianic Jews". Romans 9:6 It is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all those who are descended from Israel are truly Israel, (Rom 9:6 NET) Just this verse - says that the promise to Abraham WILL NOT be fulfilled for everyone descended from Jacob. It will be fulfilled only for those of faith. Paul goes even further to say that one is NOT a Jew because he was descended from Jacob. Romans 2:28 For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision something that is outward in the flesh, 29 but someone is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart by the Spirit and not by the written code. This person's praise is not from people but from God. (Rom 2:28 NET) The promises to "the Seed" of Abraham, will be fulfilled only for those of faith - regardless of their DNA ancestry, or their religious identity and practice. One may be "a Jew" (by DNA and practice) - and NOT BE attached to "the Tree". And one may be "a Christian" (by membership, practice, and avowed belief) - and NOT BE attached to "the Tree" - NOT one of Christ's own sheep. Even if every other DNA descendant of Abraham were lost, the promise to Abraham would not be "failed" - because Jesus triumphed - and HE is "the Seed" - and those who belong to Christ are "the seed of Abraham". Christ could save ONLY Abraham and Gentiles who believed, and STILL FULFILL the promise to Abraham. Abraham may have understood the promise to apply to His literal descendants, but the promise actually applies only to ONE DESCENDANT - ONE SEED - Jesus the Christ (with those who belong to that Seed. Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. (NKJ) Jesus Christ is the ONLY "SEED" where literal DNA descent was required to fulfill "the promise".

Not for me. My primary allegiance is to Jesus; not to Adventism.

Elijah seemed to have felt much like I do. However, God had to remind him that He had 7000 that had never bent the knee to Baal. It is really sad when you see someone you had thought was so very spiritual and reflected Jesus and then they do something so treacherous that it just totally blows you away. Kinda like in Daniel 12 where God talks about shattering the power of the people. Still trying to figure out the extent and nature of that shattering. I think this is also known as falling on the Rock rather than being crushed by the Rock. It is always good to see someone who has the presence of Jesus shining thru them that you can see. It is a joy that you do see once in a while. I remember a church lady who I grew up knowing and when she was very elderly and in the hospital, I went to visit her. She lay there in her hospital bed and told me how she had seen Jesus out her window in the clouds. I have seen evidence that many receive such "visions" before they pass away in various intensities and content.

Jeff Wood, the producer, and co-creator of Lifestyle Magazine, The Evidence, and Mad About Marriage has passed away. Some of you will recognize Jeff as the person who wrote the iconic Adventist song, "Side by Side" which has been sung for Vespers and after-glow settings at academies and colleges for decades. Jeff also produced the video series on "The Sabbath," with Hal Holbrook, and "Hell and Mr. Fudge." Jeff has made a significant impact on Adventism, especially Adventist Media. However, many don't know of Jeff since he much preferred to work behind the scenes. Faith for Today & all the shows we produce has benefitted mightily from Jeff's talents. His contributions will be greatly missed. If I know anything about television and production, it is because of Jeff Wood and Stew Harty, and Stew will tell you that he learned a lot of what he knows from Jeff. But more than that, Jeff was my friend. I truly loved this kind and gentle man. I miss my friend.

You know Joe Mo Hillary have not done anything. She too me was to tough and many accuse her of being an homosexual. She did great work and nothing you all can prove that she did bad things. Bill on the other hand was an adulterer period. However, he kept one wife and they are still together. Bill made it bad for himself and his wife. Hillary did not make good decisions in 2016 and that she has to live with. Corey, Trump and Russia stole the election from her because she did win the popular vote. Monica was a victim and that hurts me because I was not as supported of her as I should have been. On that I tweeted and ask her for forgiveness and I have stated I was wrong. Hillary shouldn't have said anything negative about Monica and that's the stiffness or toughness I was talking about earlier. She appears cold and thoughtless and that's why people dislike her. But I know about what she done to help black children in the south and behind that mask is a good woman. You claim you respect Obama, really? Then Clinton, you just keep comparing him to Trump. These two men are not the same. Listen I am not stupid, Bill show himself when he too made a racist remark. I heard it! He regretted it but it came out when Hillary went up against Obama! You know I can forgive anyone if they are truly sorry. Trump is not sorry and he won't even say that he is. How dare you state that Democrats deal with Islamic Terrorist!!!! Obama took down the main man or have you forgotten. Where did he come from Saudi Arabia and what do we know about them? They are Islam's too! All of the killing on college campus and high school were they Islamic? Or the man who did the killing in Las Vegas? What about the terrorist acts in Virginia last year and a white woman was run down! The killing of black people in SC at a Church! Nothing since the hatred to Blacks in the South has been so distinct as it is now and Muslims have nothing to do with it. Can you count the Islamic terrorist acts against the other terrorist acts that has been taken place all over this country? TO CHILDREN! CHILDREN KILLED IN SCHOOLS; ELEMENTARY SCHOOL! CHILDREN TAKEN FROM THEIR PARENTS AND LOCKED IN CAGES LIKE ANIMALS! Who are you to compare the hatred that has taken place in this country! Puerto Rico were mistreated and thousand of lives were taken. Not by the storm but by a man who showed no compassion. You go ahead and believe what you want, but do not dare accuse me of wanting to see anybody hurt! Not from Islamic terrorist or terrorist and hate groups here in USA. A black man can not kneel against what a flag? When many black men have died for this country! Indians lost their lands and now they are suppress against their voting rights. Oh one day those will give account to YAHWEH for what they have done to HIS Creatures. The Evangelicals are no different then the Islamic before THE MOST HIGH! If anybody wants to stand and believe the garbage that has been portrayed since Obama became President; stand before THE MOST HIGH! Trump and the Republican Party has shown who and what they are! Suppressing the vote shows what they are! Police killing Black boys for nothing; shows what they are! The Bible said that love will wax cold and it is! I am a shame and saddened by the hatred, the lies the mistreatment of all of us base on WHAT COLOR AND RELIGION!!!! PLEASE FATHER LET THIS WORLD COME TO AN END NOW!
