The Dark Day... brought about by forest fire?
phkrause reacted to stinsonmarri for a topic
But you do! When have you met him and being to his home? You truly don't even know me or my education but you feel so superior in your statement like you do! You are constantly contradicting yourself! I never said I knew Trump, if so where? What I have seen over the years his own remarks and his character. I have seen how he cheated on all three of his wives. I have seen how he loves to be surrounded by the Playboy crowd, especially the women. I knew he had lost business and don't pay others which include Banks and lawyers. He cheated and would not pay White alien workers, that went to court. So much was known about him before he became President. Those who want to believe that he is great that is their choice. But the Bible says your sins will find you out! His sins are coming out to hunt him. If you love his sins then you need to search out your heart! YAHWEH does not deal will those who boast on sinning and uses the languages that he uses. There are those who do not want immigrants to come here, that their choice but is not mine. However, why would you mistreat people and especially children? This again is not politic this is mistreating people. I remember chattel slavery and now children are placed in cages like animals. These children are taken from their parents. Why mistreat human beings it would be nice if you just help send them back then to be so inhumane!!. These things are all signs just like the dark days and people turn a deaf ear to it. You in your writing were always talking about the rabbi at the Tree of Life and what he has done in the past. You also bring up about mistreatment of others mainly to divert from the topic that is being discussed. Even now you bring up things to divert once again your agenda and not deal with the main issue. The topic is about the dark days and was it truly a sign. It was that many try to divert from accepting the Bible truth! What is happening today is also what YAHSHUA stated would be signs of HIS coming. Again, to talk about the violence like the days of Noah and prejudice was there as well. Prejudice does not have to do just with skin color, it has to do with superior and inferior period! It has to do with coveting, lying, cheating, mistreatment, stealing, lusting, killing and other inhuman acts. These things are sins and THE HOLY SPIRIT is rapidly moving away from the millions. Stay on topic and realize that this world all over is corrupt and YAHSHUA warned us to be prepared! My concern is to cry out loud for the abomination that's taken place. The Bible says to start with those who claim the love HIM first. Eze 9:4 That's what I am doing and parties are not the issue it is people and sin! Prayer is needed people, be bless!1 point -

First of all, I don't hate anyone and you have never seen anything I wrote to say that I did. I don't even hate Trump. What I hate is his character! What I hate is people character who say they love YAHSHUA but hate me because of the color of my skin. I didn't ask to be born this color, but I am proud to be Black as you should be proud to be the color YAHWEH made you! If you want to believe a false view of Donald Trump tract record then ok! But years ago records show his record before he became president. Record also shows how he treated Black people in a court case that he lost also! Trump has not changed and that's why the prejudice folks have come out of hiding and again people who pretended to love showed theirs as well! I will stick to his character that is against YAHSHUA'S Law, nothing else! Blessings!1 point -

Here goes politic again as usual. I stated I was not going to deal with it because it has been shown the conflict between the two parties. I will repeat what I said there is no President that have acted out of character as Trump has. President is a title, his character has been consistent throughout his life. Yes, I was very clear about those including SDA who voted for someone who hates and put down people of color. How can you say you love someone if you hate your brother? I am not dealing with parties, I am dealing with people who say they follow THE MOST HIGH! Politic is not my concern hatred is! We want to wrap everything around the political parties when both have done things wrong! Who quacks like a duck is YOU-prejudice and hatred! You tried to sugar coat it over the political dismay today when I stop that message a long time ago! Those who love their brother regardless of their color take a stand! Color as Wander and I agree includes Japheth children. Noah had three sons and we all are related and all should love one another PERIOD! Now quack that Photodude and stopped hiding under the political mess! I am here to talk about why we can't admit the signs of prophecy is for this very reason. The reason is you, who will turn the truth into a lie! You always try to make like some type of competition between me and you and it is not! Politic will not take anyone to Heaven! But as the Bible says to love one another and sad we have a leader who does not show it at all. We must call sin out and you just don't like it and that is between you and THE HOLY SPIRIT! Blessings!1 point -

Joe: I am truly sorry but the Hebrews, not Jews were not slaves, they became servants. The reason was stated very clear in Ex 1:8-11. During the time of Joseph, it was an intermediate period in Egypt. The Hyksos an Asiatic people who the true Egyptian felt was related to the Hebrews. This need to explain, as I stated earlier the Hebrew had adopted a Canaanite language. The Canaanites the Bible stated spread abroad that is why China and all Asians people are from Ham! When Ahmose took over Egypt, he felt that IsraEL was a very large group of people and would join again with the Hyksos if they return. As most nations do in ancient time is to reduce the population, they kill the male child who grew up and fight in wars! Many scholars have felt that Hatshepsut was the one to found Moses, but I said it was her daughter, the princess Neferure. She about five years older than Thutmose III and around 16, she was the one who found Moses. The fact is she was known as “King’s Daughter, King’s Wife” (sAt-niswt, hmt-niswt). The inscription found at Sinai Amenemhat was also a prince of the eighteenth dynasty of Egypt, the son of Thutmose III who died. Finally, the Egyptian never moved them from their home in Goshen. This was a very important and rich area. Also, the handmaiden did not follow the king first order to kill the male children. The word Taskmaster was the head person and notice how easy it was for a Hebrew to stand up and let Moses know of his crime. Moses at that time was known as a prince of Egypt! Aaron also was led to Moses if he was a slave, how could he have spoken to the Pharaoh the way he did! The Bible also shows proof that IsraEL were servants, they were paid for their service. And YAHWEH gave favor to the people in the eyes of the Egyptians. And they granted their requests. And they plundered Egypt. Ex 12:36 Chattel slavery is property and you are branded and inspected just like an animal that's the difference. No one was treated like this but Afrikans! Let’s be very clear, I do not excuse the mistreatment of human beings. But none were treated by all Europeans who cut Afrika up like a piece of cake. They took the people, then took over the land and stole the resources. That’s a fact and that is the reason why Afrika has suffered until reason. Many Europeans today have realized what has been done and now are working to make things better. Sad is hatred has rip up a lot of the area in Afrika due to slavery and teaching them to turn on each one. The new fanatic Islamic view has also reach Afrika which have devastated the people as well. Blessings!1 point -

The “sons of God” in Gen 6:1-4: Angels or Humans?
Kevin H reacted to JoeMo for a topic
Here's another thought (and that's all it is - just a thought) ... Assuming that God didn't find it feasible to explain gene splicing/replacement (aka gene editing) to Moses, is it at least feasible that fallen angels did some gene editing on human women in an attempt to produce a super race? Humanity is on the verge of (if not already capable of) of gene editing to "improve" man (Google CRISPR). If we can do it, why couldn't fallen angels do it? Fallen angels are not "aliens" - they are fallen angels who have rebelled against God, no matter what the "ancient extraterrestrial theorists" say.1 point -

5 Things You Didn't Know About Blue Jeans_2 On May 20, 1873, Levi Strauss and his partner Jacob Davis received a patent for blue jeans. Here are 5 things you probably didn’t know about the history of these iconic jeans in America... Blue Jeans Were the Creation of Two Immigrants Although Levis are an iconic symbol of America, two immigrants were involved in their original design. Strauss had emigrated from Bavaria, and his partner, Jacob Davis, was a tailor from Latvia. Davis was the inventor of the copper rivets for pants with the intention that the pants would be sturdier and last longer, while Strauss put up the money, supplied the fabric and helped to create the pants. Levi Strauss Did Not Invent Denim The original Levis were not made of denim, although a number of people think that Strauss was the inventor of the popular fabric. The word denim is a variation of the French words for “from Nimes.” This was a French town that made serge, which was a cotton fabric that was sturdy and had many uses from a heavier grade for military uniforms to a lighter grade for women’s dresses. The Popular Pants Weren’t Even Called Jeans The pants were called overalls, which was a name for pants used for work until heartthrob movie actor James Dean appeared wearing them in Rebel Without a Cause. The problem is kids wanted to wear them but weren’t happy with the connotation the word overalls gave them, so they called them jeans. Adults eventually called them jeans too, even though the originals fit like overalls without a bib. There’s a Reason Jeans Have Rivets One of the problems of early working men is that their pockets would rip out and needed either repair, or if the problem was bad enough, it would cost them a new pair of pants. Levis sewed the pockets and used rivets to prevent tearing as well as adding a small watch pocket. During the 1930s, the rivets were covered because of complaints that they scratched the furniture, but they were featured on the outside again in 1947. Jeans Became Popular Because of Dude Ranches Other than miners, farmers and cowboys, not many people wore jeans until the American craze to visit dude ranches back in the 1930s. After all, it was during the Great Depression, and playing at being cowboys by visiting a dude ranch was a great way for ranchers to pocket a little extra money during those hard times. Visitors would buy a pair of jeans to wear during their dude ranch visit, although even then they were limited to wearing them only on the weekend.1 point -
New York Court Upholds Emergency Mandatory Vaccination
phkrause reacted to B/W Photodude for a topic
My point was that a one person event is not good evidence to say it was the vaccine. Even if said by medical people to be so. There are a lot of people in their final rest because medical people determined the wrong thing.1 point -
Utility Discounts Can Continue
Aliensanctuary reacted to Gregory Matthews for a topic
Many reading here probably received some discounts when you signed up for bundled services. As an example, we receive the following services from ATT, all of which originally came with some limited time discounts: * TV * Internet * Landline telephone service. NOTE: We have cell phone service from Google Fi, rather than ATT, as I am a fan of some of what Google Fi does in their service. With all of the above, the time comes when the discount expires and a charge goes up. What many do not realize is that these companies who bundle such service along with time-limited discounts, continue to give discounts to customers who remain, if they request such. These continued discounts are typically handled by their Customer Loyalty department, and not the ordinary billing people. They are only available to people who ask for them after a discount has expired, not before. We noted on our ATT bill this month that a discount had expired and our bill had gone up by some $25 per month. So, my wife called the Customer Loyalty department in ATT ,stated that this $25 discount had expired and asked what other discount was available to us. We were immediately informed that there was a 12-month $30 per month discount available to us, which we accepted. She then asked for a listing of our other discounts along with the date that they would expire. She was given such and now knows when to call back and get new discounts for remaining with ATT. NOTE: There have been times, in the past, when we had another provider, where we were simply told that we would need to change the billing name, between my wife and I. By doing that, each time we changed the billing name, were would get the same discounts as a new customer. My point is: While the various providers may slightly differ as to how they do it, If you ask, the Customer Loyalty department will likely be willing to continue to give you discounts, in order to keep you as a customer.1 point -

I agree. The Bible clearly states (IMHO) that the celestial disturbances preceding and accompanying the Second Coming are world-wide. A day of relative darkness in a tiny corner of New England does not qualify as a worldwide warning of the end of the Age. Additionally, I hesitate to think events that occurred almost 230 years ago qualify as signs of the imminent second coming Everyone who witnessed this event are long dead. Also, the Bible is overwhelmingly a collection of Books written by Israelites to Israelites about Israel. So I fail to see how an isolated event 5,000 miles from Israel (and probably completely unknown to them) would qualify as a "sign of the end". Just my opinion.1 point -
Piecing together the pain of loss for men after abortion

Corrine Barraclough: Piecing together the pain of loss for men after abortion THERE are some times in life when you don’t join the dots until you have a conversation that’s like switching on a series of light bulbs. We know male suicide rates are soaring. Did you know male suicides and abortion-related mental illness are interrelated? Neither did I. It’s poorly understood by professionals too. “Most suicide counsellors aren’t trained to identify abortion trauma,” Julie Cook, national director of Abortion Grief Australia (AGA) tells me. “In fact, the vast majority aren’t even aware that it can be an issue for men. Most women have no concept that abortion can hurt men. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/opinion/corrine-barraclough-piecing-together-the-pain-of-loss-for-men-after-abortion/news-story/b9aed53e9a1977b0496633a669ee14f1?nk=54be4ba790dc8fc2165f0c04a58e5cbf-15544723111 point -

Many, many posts here are of a "gotcha" variety or of the practice of oneupsmanship. It may be a standard acceptable practice for debate teams, but seems to be a bit unseemly when it is a Christian discussion group. Jesus said regarding one of the disciples when first introduced that he had no guile in his mouth. Seems to be one of the nicest compliments you could receive. (For the record, I claim no innocence regarding any of the objectionable characteristics listed above. But I do have some goals. )1 point -

I have for some time thought that the standard SDA escatology needed revision: this is one of the things that initially put me at odds with the "the brethren." And I thought that this article showed signs of doing that. I was disappointed. On several counts. The authors, (who have wisely and justifiably remained anonymous) have followed the same pattern of interpreting Dan/Rev. as the early church pioneers, in that they have applied the prophecies to their current political/social/economic landscape. It is "Americentric." Meaning that, in keeping with the Trump doctrine of the primacy of the US in everything, it ignores the political/social/economic landscape of the rest of the world. If the Bible is for ALL humanity, IMO any prophecies contained in it should be "interpreted" globally, and not simply nationally, (This is the same trap that Henry His Child has fallen into.) It does not address large sections of the prophecies. (For example, the details) IMO, the Bible, being a Spiritual book, addresses spiritual issues. Yes, political entities play a role, but the article does not mention any (OK, few) religious applications. It's all about the US and Donald Trump. There is another entity that fits the prophecies a lot closer, and No, it is NOT the Pope and /or the Catholic church. The above is my opinion based on....my opinion. Just my two-bits...1 point -

B/W, Quit mincing your words and tell us how you REALLY feel.? Since the discussion has turned to presidents, I'll put my 2 bits in. If I had to choose who I would want to have a beer with (non-alcoholic, of course!) between Trump and Obama, I would definitely pick Obama. In spite of his politics, he seems like a real fun and likable person. If I were to choose who I want to run the country, it is DEFINITELY Trump. In spite of being a former dirtbag and a continuing abrasive personality, he is actually doing the things he promised to do while campaigning - unlike any of the presidents of the past 42 years. Those years have proven that trying to be a nice generous patient (IMHO "patsy") country to the rest of the world, most of the world still hated and disrespected the U.S. Well, under Trump things are different. N Korea has backed down, Iran appears to be backing down. Many in the UN are backing down. Plus, he supports God's chosen people - Israel. And now ...0 points
