    Covered by water

I was watching a creation science program yesterday. If all the mountains were leveled and filled the deep trenches under the oceans, according to geologist/scientists, there is enough water in our oceans presently to cover all land mass completely to a depth of 20 feet. I thought this very interesting. In the account of Noah's flood, "all the "high hills" and "the mountains" were covered to a depth of 15 cubits. That's about 22 feet. If there is a massive earthquake (about Richter of 12) that causes all land mass to crumble and sink, and if all land mass is covered by water - worldwide, then the world would return to what it was before Genesis 1:9, during the creation week. I had always thought of the desolation during the 7th millennium, like an uninhabited desert - not an uninhabited waterworld. Under the second bowl - of the last 7 plagues: Revelation 16:3 "The second angel emptied his bowl over the sea, and it turned to blood, like the blood of a corpse, and every living creature in the sea died." There goes the food-chain, and the rain cycle. I know the LORD promised never to send another flood to kill all life. Some believe the flood of Noah was a localized flood. But if that's so, then the LORD could not send another localized flood. But there have been many localized floods, some large enough to cover whole nations (like the one that covered Pakistan), so I don't think the flood of Noah was limited to an area of the Middle East. That would mean the LORD could not send another like it - another localized flood. Besides, how do you have a localized flood where the waters cover all the highest points to a dept of 20 feet? Not so "localized". If the sea covers all land mass by the end of Revelation 16:18-20, would that be another world "flood"? There's no rain except for "great hail from heaven" (v.21). The "fountains of the great deep" were already opened back in Genesis 7:11. Some say a giant asteroid hit, broke open earth's crust allowing volcanic magma to super-heat waters deep in the earth (the initial cooling system). The super-heated waters were erupted high into the atmosphere, which then descended as "rain" for 40 days. This plus the escape of the "fountains of the deep", flooded the earth. Would collapsing all dry land mass into "the sea" qualify as another "flood" ?

5 Things You Didn't Know About The Munich Massacre On September 5, 1972, the Munich Massacre at the 1972 Summer Olympics caused the deaths of 11 Israeli Olympic team members. Here are 5 things you probably didn’t know about this terrorist attack... There Were Advance Warnings About the Attack German authorities were warned numerous times, including by their own foreign office, that Palestinian extremists were planning an attack during the Munich Olympic Games. In fact, an Italian publication called Gente reported that Black September terrorists were planning to do something sensational as the Olympics were being held. Agencies in China and America and criminal police in Hamburg, Germany also knew. Israel Rejected the Terrorists’ Demands Members of Black September, the Palestinian-based group of terrorists, entered Olympic Village and occupied the quarters of the Israeli athletes. They were demanding that 232 Palestinians imprisoned by Israel be released as well as three other militants. Although negotiators in Germany were willing to concede to the terrorists’ demands, Israel refused, saying that its citizens would no longer feel safe if the authorities gave in. The Rescue Attempt Was Botched Two of the Israel athlete hostages were killed by the terrorists early on, and a plan was hatched by West German police to free the remaining hostages. However, camera crews in the area broadcast the rescue attempt, which warned the terrorists about their actions. Two helicopters were dispatched to transport the terrorists and their remaining hostages to Reim, near Munich. But by the time it was over, all of the Israeli athletes were dead, and three of the attackers survived and were released as a bargaining chip later in the hijacking of a Lufthansa flight. Seventeen People Were Dead by the Time it Was Over Eleven Israelis on the Olympic team, along with a policeman and five of the Black September terrorists were killed by the time the ordeal ended. The police chief in Munich, Manfred Schreiber, said that they had not been prepared to deal with an attack like this. They were trained to handle ordinary offenses unarmed but not against terrorists who had been trained. Germany Formed a Rescue Task Force as a Result Germany founded a special task force called GSG 9 in response to the Munich Massacre. It was first used to successfully free the hostages held in Mogadishu onboard Lufthansa Flight 181 by Palestinian liberationists. No recriminations or criticisms were placed against those in charge of the debacle that took place with regard to the Olympic Village attack.

Around the world, there are over 500 "myths" about a war between God or the gods and people of earth that resulted in a flood that destroyed everything but a few people. These people include Aborigines, American Indians, Polynesians, Chinese, Japanese, Intuit, Greek, Roman, Nordic, Caribbean. Many of these "myths" (including scripture) claim the survivors took animals and seed with them to reset the planet. I'm not saying the Bible story of the flood is a myth; I'm saying that polytheistic and pantheistic societies around the globe tell basically the same story as the Bible. I also believe that many "myths" have their origins in fact; so I agree that the flood was worldwide.

    Who's fooling who?

It amazes me that one who claims education and knowledge would trash another person as religiously as you trash Donald Trump. You exude hatred towards him and even fellow Christians who happen to support him. Most people are doing their best to survive in this world and figure out what the best way to vote their consciences in elections. The last election was the will of the people under the framework of how elections are held in this country. You have called Trump a liar in the past. For every lie you imagine he has told, you can find many more from the party members of your choice. How about "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" for a start? There is just as much racism in the Democratic party and even in the black community as you imagine there to be in the conservative fraction of the population. I won't even cover the evil done to people selected by the President to fill positions in government. You favorite news source continued to maintain their mantra of collusion after the Mueller report compiled by a team of Clintonite lawyers found nothing and the only collusion was on the part of the Clinton campaign to produce the source of the lies. It has been well established that significant levels of lies and falsehood went into the FISA court applications. I would think with all your claimed education in history that you could recognize an attempted coup in progress in this country. But I guess not. If these words of Christ were heeded, they would check the utterance of evil surmising and unkind criticism; for in commenting upon the actions and motives of another, who can be certain of speaking the exact truth? How often pride, passion, personal resentment, color the impression given! A glance, a word, even an intonation of the voice, may be vital with falsehood. Even facts may be so stated as to convey a false impression. And “whatsoever is more than” truth, “is of the evil one.” Thoughts from the Mount of Blessings Even Jesus when speaking to the devil as He claimed the body of Moses did not rail against him. Adding blessings to the end of a post vilifying another person does nothing and certainly does not produce blessings.

This is all very interesting, but I don't think it's really important (to me at least). I'm still good with calling the "holy convocations" feasts and festivals.I don't think its a sin. Words change meanings over the years. Party was never a verb until recently. Gay used to mean happy and fun.

    Questions and Answers (16:7)

Lou: I was thinking about the title of this chapter, “God’s Last Pleading with His Children.” Then I looked at those messages in Revelation 14, particularly the second and the third, and wondered if a more appropriate title might have been, “God’s Last Threatening.” Isn’t that what’s happening here? Graham: Well, it certainly is a […] The post Questions and Answers (16:7) appeared first on Jon Paulien's Blog. View the full article

5 Things You Didn't Know About "The Crocodile Hunter" On September 4, 2006, "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, 44, died after a stingray's barb pierced his chest. Here are 5 interesting things you never knew about this famous wildlife expert... Irwin Developed a Love of Animals Early From 1970, Irwin spent his early years at his parents’ reptile park in Beerwah, close to Queensland, Australia. His father was a herpetologist, a scientist who studies reptiles; and his mother rehabilitated wildlife. The younger Irwin helped by feeding the animals and operating the park. He grew up to own what is now named the Australia Zoo. Irwin Was Afraid of Parrots For a guy who handled snakes and alligators with ease, it is surprising to find out that he was most afraid of parrots. According to a statement he made in an interview, parrots tended to bite him, and he didn’t know why. He stated that he had suffered some bad bites from parrots and almost had his nose torn off, so it isn’t surprising he preferred dealing with the snakes and gators. He Named His Daughter After Two Animals Bindi Sue Irwin was named after her father’s favorite crocodile and a dog. The dog’s name was Sui, and had appeared on Irwin’s show many times before her death from cancer. Steve Irwin said that his daughter’s first name was Australian Aboriginal and meant “young girl.” The Risks Irwin Took Cost Him His Life Although it was obvious that Irwin was good with animals, there were times when he placed himself in danger. It may be surprising to some that a crocodile didn't take his life. Instead, it happened while shooting a segment of the 2006 Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and a stingray caused his death. He died aboard a boat with friends and crew members surrounding him. A Snail Was Named After Him Irwin was well known for using the term “Crikey!” and a scientist, Dr. John Stanisic, who worked at the Queensland Museum, apparently remembered this when he discovered a previously unknown tree snail. He said that its colors of orange-brown, creamy yellow and chocolate made it look as though it was wearing khaki. He immediately connected it with Steve Irwin and named the snail crikey steveirwini.

Moralizing again stinsonmarri? I think everyone here knows that "Feasts of the LORD" used in most English translations, means "appointed times" for "holy convocations". I'm not going to say "Shame" on the translators of every English version. Some of those translators were executed for their work. CJB Leviticus 23:2 "Tell the people of Isra'el: 'The designated times of ADONAI which you are to proclaim as holy convocations are my designated times'".
