    Gregory Matthews Update

Gregory will be going into surgery this coming Thursday for injuries he recently (and briefly spoke about). This was not an insignificant accident or insignificant injuries but Gregory was upbeat and openly acknowledged he feels Blessed because this could have been MUCH, MUCH worse than it was. He spent quite a bit of time at the hospital today getting ready for Thursday. He asked me to save him the pain of pecking one key at a time & I was absolutely honored to do this for him.

    Who's fooling who?

I do get amazed at what I read here sometimes. Super humans hybrids, angels copulating with humans? Never read that in my Bible, never read it in SOP, never heard it in church! It does say in SOP that Adam was in the approximate size of 15 ft tall. Didn't take an evil angel to get him that tall. Some may not believe it, but the Bible says they also lived to nearly 1000 years back in those days. Which is harder - live to 1000 years or be 15 ft tall.

    Who's fooling who?

I believe the angels are asexual - neither male nor female, and non-reproducing. If - BIG if, such inbreeding with human woman were possible (which at present I still doubt), the asexual fallen angels would have to incarnate into human flesh - as adults (not babies), in order to be of the same "kind". In this creation "kind" can reproduce only "after their kind". It could be that Satan simply wanted to pollute the human bloodline, to force Jesus into dying for fallen angels too. It could be the fallen angels saw how pleasurable sex was, and wanted to engage. It could be that Satan wanted to pollute the human race to bring it to a point where the LORD would have to destroy it - all of it. The LORD did almost destroy the human race - in the Flood.

    Under Law

You say that God did not "make known" His Sabbath, and His Law to nations other than Israel. I would differ. The nations living around Israel, knew about Israel's God. Pharaoh knew about Israel's God. There are many stories in the Scripture of persons coming from "the nations", to worship Israel's God - even to becoming citizens of Israel. Jeremiah 6:19 "Hear, O earth: behold, I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their plans, Because they have not listened to My words, And as for My law, they have rejected it also." (NAS) 1 Corinthians 10:11 "Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come." (NAS) The Law spoken to Israel, and written on stones was "written for our instruction". Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, Do we teach them only the Gospels? Don't they need some background and history from the OT also? If we teach them the Psalms, they would need to know who David was, and why he was important. They would need to know what "sin" is, and why we needed a Savior. That all starts with Adam. There are millions of people who have lived on this earth, to whom the Gospel was never spoken. Does that mean the Gospel was not for them, because it was not "given" or "revealed" to them? Of course not. Because something is not revealed first-hand, does not mean it was not revealed at all. God left us His word. You and I did not literally walk with Jesus for three years. Does that mean we cannot receive the truths He taught? Of course not. My ancestors did not stand at the foot of Mount Sinai. Does that mean I cannot receive the truths there revealed, and receive into my own heart the Law spoken there?

    Trivia

5 Things You Didn't Know About The USS Enterprise On September 24, 1960, the USS Enterprise, the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, was launched at Newport News, Virginia. Here are 5 surprising facts about this amazing ship nicknamed the “Big E.” The Ship Carried Eight Nuclear Reactors The USS Enterprise had four propeller shafts, each powered by two nuclear reactors, which was a daring move because reactors had never been used in tandem before so engineers were uncertain whether it would work out. She measured 1,123 feet in length, which made her the U.S. Navy’s longest aircraft carrier. With a width of 252 feet, the flight deck covered an area equal to 4.47 acres. She Was the Eighth Ship to Bear the Name Enterprise The first ship named Enterprise was originally named George and was a British ship but was renamed when Col. Benedict Arnold captured her and refitted her to defend supply routes in America from attacks. The second was a schooner bought for the use of the Continental Navy, the third was a schooner used during the Barbary Wars, and the fourth was used to protect U.S. shipping. The fifth Enterprise was a sloop of war used around the world, the sixth ship was a motorboat that operated as a tugboat, and the seventh was a warship that became the most decorated in the history of the U.S. Navy. The USS Enterprise Participated in a Number of Military Actions The USS Enterprise was used during the blockade while the Cuban Missile Crisis was going on in October 1962. She also circumnavigated the world without refueling in 1964, along with the USS Bainbridge and USS Long Beach. After being redesignated, she was deployed toward the end of 1965 and served during the Vietnam War, where aircraft flown from her deck struck against the enemy Viet Cong. A Starship Enterprise Crewmember Did Not Ground the Carrier The Enterprise was accidentally grounded on April 28, 1983, and became stuck in the sand for around six hours because the ship channel had been miscalculated. About half a mile from its destination, 4,500 crewmen waited for hours, along with actor George Takai, who played Lt. Cmdr. Hikaru Sulu, the helmsman on the popular television show “Star Trek.” Takai, of course, was not piloting the aircraft carrier, and the ship floated off the sand when the tide rose. The Ship Was Decommissioned in 2017 On February 3, 2017, the Enterprise was removed from the vessel register maintained by the Navy, which marked its long, illustrious career in service. It was the first time an aircraft carrier that was nuclear-powered was decommissioned. The Enterprise had traveled over 1 million nautical miles since it had first put to sea back in 1961.
