In a recent Sabbath school discussion, one of the members recommended I read a book regarding ancient kings of Israel and how amazingly similar to modern presidents. It sounded good so I bought the book and left it is a pile of other books waiting for a reading. Then, I ran into my insurance agent and we got to discussing religion (he informed me he watches Doug Batchelor and is studying Bible with a Seventh-day Adventist in his home town. He comes to my town to sign up people for supplemental insurance.) Then he asks, "have you read the book "Paradigm." "I mentioned it was waiting on my desk to read, I just hadn't got to it yet. He says you will be amazed! So, with two independent recommendations within a short time, I figured it was time to move it up in line. So I read the book Paradigm by Jonathan Cahn, who is a Messianic Jew living in New Jersey and runs the website <http://www.hopeoftheworld.org/>. Many report they could not put the book down when they started reading it. I would have done the same if I did not also have several other books in progress to read. But it was simply amazing. I have enjoyed in the past reading books by other Jewish authors regarding the politics of the kings of Judah and Israel. We tend to focus more on the wickedness or righteousness of these kings, but seldom on their political abilities. Cahn in Paradigm at length discussed Ahab, Jezebel, Joram, Jehu, Johanadab, and Elijah at length including even at times a psychological assessment of them. However, Israel was a kingdom on decline and in severe apostasy. The same for America today. Cahn proferred up the idea that there was a paradigm in these kings that would lead to understanding of Bill & Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Mike Pence. He lined them up this way: Bill Clinton .... Ahab Hillary Clinton .... Jezebel Joram .... Barack Obama Jehu …. Donald Trump Johanadab .... Mike Pence What was amazingly stunning was how much these characters were a match and behaved so much alike. The whole story of the House of Ahab has been repeated for us in our time and both nations are on the edge of destruction. Some may object to Hillary being compared to Jezebel, but Hillary has often been compared to Lady MacBeth. In Shakespeare's time, Lady MacBeth was compared to Jezebel! One of the most evil of practices in Israel was the sacrifice of children to the gods. Hillary Clinton was given an award for being one of the most significant supporters of abortion in the last century. Cahn promoted the idea that abortion is the modern equivalent of child sacrifice to the gods. This is not so far fetched if you consider the writings of abortion promoters. Ginette Paris in her book The Sacrement of Abortion wrote, "Our culture needs new rituals as well as laws to restore abortion to its sacred dimension." She also wrote, "Abortion is a sacrifice to Artemis. Abortion [is] a sacrtament for the gift of life to remain pure." Artemis was one of the ancient gods! Other practices by the House of Ahab that compared to the modern presidents included: Thirst for power by Jezebel The release of King Ben-Hadad Naboth's death and the fulfillment of prophecy by Elijah The death of Joram and Jezebel at the hand of Jehu. The Hebrew word used to describe Jehu's race to the throne also best describes Trump's race for the presidency – mad, insane, and crazy. As Jehu approached Jezreel in his chariot, one of the watchers on the wall said, "The one who drives the lead chariot drives like Jehu son of Nimshi; he drives recklessly." 2Kings9:20 What the book took from all this, and I also thought much the same, is that the events of the House of Ahab and Jehu slowed down the apostasy of Israel and probably delayed their demise as a nation. I see the same for us today. Jehu was annointed at the direction of one of the prophets and by God to end the house of Ahab. Jehu was there and heard the prophecy of Elijah against Ahab for the death of Nobath. Jehu regardless of past lifestyle had the assistance of the people who had never bowed the knee to Baal. Trump has also had the assistance of the religious leaders of today to slowing down the moral fall of this country. I would suggest that we have divinely been given a bit more time to be ready for the close of probation and the time of trouble. Perhaps it not time for final events to begin or was occurring in a manner different that prophesied. IF Donald Trump was like Jehu anointed for the task of destroying the House of Ahab, should we be involved in hate campaigns against him? Cahn's discussion of Elijah was not related to anyone current, but the Elijah message was offered as a call for the people of today like it was in Ancient Israel. This was an amazing book with an incredible analysis of even to lengths of time being comparable such as in the reign of Ahab and the time Bill Clinton was in government. There were many such comparisons.

To even just look at this as a 3 year old, one could say: "well, if everyone is broke" why does everyone have money? (I mean governments). We keep getting told the US is broke, but why do they always have money to lend others? Are you saying the US is so broke that it has surrendered its sovereignity to China and "borrowing" money from them all the time to stay afloat? Where does China keep getting all this money; especially when their own economy is tanking? Rev 6:6 is quite interesting re "the oil..."

The national debt is not "gospel truth". It's "financial truth". The gospel truth is that a failure of the economic system will play into the last days. "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." (Rev. 6:5-6)

A Virtuous woman is the Bible definition of "beautiful." and we quote his writings all the time! The FACT of the matter re the OP of this topic is that God IS in control of the affairs of the nations, and The Desire of All Nations is FREELY available to all; including DT! Some of whats being posted here would patently deny this essential, Biblical fact. God didn't say anyone has to like DT or anyone else in power, but what He has said, and still says, is that He is in control and He sets up "kings" and brings them down, in His time, and in His way, and our opinions of the ones He died for usually have nothing to do with the REALITY. I hate to break it to some posting that JESUS DIED FOR DONALD TRUMP, so lets stop giving the public ideas that are not in scripture! HE IS ABLE to save to the uttermost!! Please, STOP saying that He is not! It doesn't work that way! NO Christian is any better than DT, so lets stop pretending that we are.

I don't take sides either here because parties cannot save us. I an not concern about his business, and he is being a "little over his head." One is personal, the other is political and this is not the place for that. My concern is immoral things he do in front of our children and more so against THE MOST HIGH! I have seen all state that he is doing things wrong. If they know this speak up! Tell others who accept him like they do. They can tell them kindly to let him know that this is not acceptable. If they would work together, I believe they could reach out to him. We should always try to reach to others no matter who they are about the truth. That's is what I believe we all should do! Joe: That is not political at all when we are dealing with spiritual remarks. You and others who accept this man have said that he have acted and said very immoral things. Father's do not say that their daughters are hot! That is a very prerogative word that adult men say to women they want to become intimate with. Just because people are leaders of any political parties, we cannot as those who love THE MOST HIGH, condone their sinful actions. Now, if they show remorse and confess we should state that as well. This will show they are repentful and want to change. You know I do not care about parties if you wrong you are wrong! We should never allow them to say disrespectful words and actions in front of our children. Many people of both parties who are trying to lead a spiritual life have always stood for this. Now, I see that it is not like that in the once respectful Republican Party. I see them allow him to curse, lie and do some very immoral actions even blasphemy against THE MOST HIGH! Then become so angry when others speak out against like we have committed a crime. I have never seen so much viciousness like to rip people apart! This is not right! It is not about parties here, is about standing firm to YAHWEH'S Moral Law regardless of parties, ethnic or religion. We should be able to comment with love for truth even when we have special ties to known people. Those who know that what he does that is sinful, should also speak out about it with others that accept your political views. When all will share with others it help him to change. You don't stand for his sinful ways. You come together and tell him to change your children see this! They will all respect you that you are a person of not only words but of action! No I have not seen that as of yet, this is the first I've heard of it!! Will look it up! Hasn't really happened?? Its actually been getting warmer and warmer. In today's paper was reading that we are having more powerful hurricanes every year! Just this past year we had 2, 3 maybe even 4 category 5 hurricanes?? Usually we have a few 1s and 2s and maybe a 4 or 5, but not like this in the past couple years. Its been pretty devastating! This world is growing old and groaning! And lets not forget the fires throughout the west, I'm actually surprised that we've not had more fires here in Florida!! Thank God is all I can say!

Kids are so cute. They are like poor best friends that think you are rich!

Here I was, trying to write a post on the topic of the general wickedness of our age, and how that wickedness was prophesied in types. In her response, stinsonmarrie goes right BACK to condemning our current president. She's been asked and asked and asked and asked - to stop it, but she cannot seem to stop herself.

I have read the book and I am putting it down. You have compare people today that are not like IsraEL who knew the truth. The problem is as I continue to state, you along with this book and the writer are trying to combine political views with the Bible. That is incorrect because YAHSHUA clearly said to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar (politics) and to THE ALMIGHTY the things that are THE ALMIGHTY, (HIS Moral Law and worship). I would like it shown that the Kennedy's, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, the Bushe's, Reagan, Clintons, Obama, and the one in the WH now know all about the truth concerning the Commandment? How can you compare anyone of them to IsraEL who knew YAHWEH, HIS Laws, Judgement and Statutes. Show how could Hillary be like Jezebel having false prophets? Jonathan Cahn who portray himself as Elijah. Well if read the story of Elijah and also for the endtime; the Bible specifically speaks about us coming in THE SPIRIT of Elijah. Elijah had THE HOLY SPIRIT and Cahn does not mention this at all. Prophets are not magicians they receive their message and power through their relationship with YAHWEH! They keep all the Commandments. Then Rachel makes this statement: "I hate to break it to some posting that JESUS DIED FOR DONALD TRUMP, so lets stop giving the public ideas that are not in scripture! You don't need to hate to bring anything. And the Bible said YAHSHUA died for the entire world. Who is giving anyone ideas that are not in the Scripture? I see only you stating that YAHSHUA died for only one man and that is not in the Scripture. Well I know a lot of people that are spiritual minded that are better then the man in the WH. I know people who do not lie, cheat on their wives, and have sex with playboy bunnies and do sex movies, hang around known sex traffickers and so much more! Just because we go to church do not make anyone of us saints! What make us correct is being humble, recognizing that we are sinners saved by grace. Realizing that we can stop sinning by the assistance and POWER of THE HOLY SPIRIT! We also must make a choice to change from our sins! Finally, we are all here realizing that were standing in the end of time. We read in Matt and the book of Revelation that their will be certain events which includes people to beware of coming with deception. Deception doesn't come from without, it comes from those who are within trying to plant the seed of despair and comfort, that what we first believe is not true! They wrap lies up in a package pretending it is truth but it is actually deception. They say a little sin here and there needs to be overlooked. No sin should be overlook. We all need to pray that we do not be deceived by books, smooth talking and overlooking YAHWEH'S Laws! Blessings!

I have always wondered just why it is that we so readily believe this hooplah about "the debt." Can someone please tell me just HOW on earth we are to trust that as gospel truth? Another False Flag??

They are all as good as "The Paradigm". Rabbi Cahn is one of my favorite authors. We also subscribe to his daily devotionals.

Excellent book by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, as are all his others. My wife is reading "The Oracle" right now; and loves it.

Given the place of the "lamb that came up on dry ground" in bible prophecy, I would think that anything that happens in the flow of politics in the USA occurs with the permission of God or under His direction. If you can see the flow of prophecy and what the election of Donald Trump has done to the American mindset, the better or for worse to come, DT is doing an important part in the unfolding of last day events.

The most important cultural event supporting the book of Nehemiah, for another example here is the God directed kindness of Persian rulers who even in their desire to rule the world gave favor to the conquered Jews, recognizing the spiritual as well as cultural importance of Jerusalem and the temple to the nation of Israel. Both Cyrus and Darius as Persian kings displayed benevolence toward Israel that God directed. It is important to note the hand of God upon these kings to orchestrate blessings for Christians today, and I dont see anything "wrong" about people who want to acknowledge that God is operating the controls with DT, and some of us need to just get out of His way.

If you haven't read the book, then don't put it down like you know what it says.

Yet, you present a book that is trying to compare former President Clinton and his wife Hillary to Ahab and Jezebel. Then the man in the WH is supposed be Jehu and the writer of this book is suppose to be the prophet Elijah. This is totally not right at all! You are correct Rachel. In Sodom, the angels told Lot to tell all of his adult children what was about to happen. They did not listen! But, they were warned twice. The first time when they were captured and brought back by Abraham. IsraEL had prophet after prophet to warn them. Today we are to speak and stand firm to truth also. I give no pleasure in seeing this man sinful ways, but it is wrong. Yes, many are immoral today and you cannot blame it on a party. I blame it on us who know and see immorality and do not kindly speak out. We don't need the fire and brimstone speech! We need to show love for one another and work together to let leaders know we stand for truth. Homosexuality is in both parties and in religion that is wrong as well. We need to speak out but it has become political. We cannot force people to change. We show them by being kind. That is why we should never become politicians. But, we all can stand humbly for truth!
