Two Second Comings?
phkrause reacted to stinsonmarri for a topic
Typical you, now you have demoted yourself to name calling. This is exactly what I am referring to! So out of character with YAHWEH! Now, you can see how prejudice work! What next Photodude let's see who you really are! You cannot address the truth, so you react to this! Sad! I truly feel sorry for you!1 point -

I don't think anyone here is showing racism against anyone else. Frankly, I don't care what "color" Canaanites, Israelites, Jesus, or the apostles were. They were humans. The only thing that concerns me is that Jesus is Lord and Savior; and His disciples established the Church. Marrian, you live in a part of the country where racism was (maybe still is) rampant. Your experience defines who you are and how you think. Just because we haven't walked in your shoes doesn't mean we are racist. Arguably we may be ignorant of how racism impacted (or may still impact) your life; but that does not make us racist. Once again, I ask that this thread not be turned unto a racist rant, but that it stay centered on Christ. If you want to start a thread on racial relations, start it somewhere else. This is a theological town hall; not a race relations town hall.1 point -

When will Iran attack our (US) fleet?
phkrause reacted to stinsonmarri for a topic
I also will like to say along with what Pastor Matthew is saying, Iran cannot compete with us in a conventional war. This is another evading trick of you know who! It will backfire on him because terrorist is the main thing that Iran is known for will increase! We will see again a rise here in terrorist acts brought on by this action. Just remember one thing YAHWEH is in control and things are happening to wake us up! Neither Iran nor Korea will stop the prophetic prophecies that YAHWEH has given in the Bible. Satan is trying everything to stop them and many sadly will be terrified and not remain on the ship that will guide those who are faithful home. Watch THE MIGHTY HAND of THE ALMIGHTY WORK! Happy Sabbath!1 point -

What I also see in this video is that Muslims have more reference and respect for their house of worship then we do. They believe also in cleansing themselves which also was a required practice of the priest before they enter the Holy Place and Aaron The Most Holy Place! When judging others we should reflect back on are method of worship. Thanks for the video brother Stan! Happy Sabbath and blessings!1 point -

5 Things You Didn't Know About Utah On this day in 1896, Utah became the 45th state to enter the Union. The mysteries of this state may surprise you—and no, not all of it has to do with Mormons. Here are 5 facts you probably never knew about this western state... Utah’s State Bird Is the Seagull Utah may be landlocked, but the seagull holds a special place in the hearts of Utah’s residents. According to the story, settlers that arrived early in the area almost starved when Mormon crickets arrived in swarms to decimate their crops. The story goes on to say that a flock of seagulls arrived in the knick of time in 1848 and stayed for two weeks gorging themselves on those destructive crickets, and the crops were saved. True or not, a statue dedicated to those hero seagulls can be found outside the assembly hall in Salt Lake. Utah Is Home to Five National Parks The average state has just 1.18 national parks, but Utah is home to five because of its impressive and beautiful fauna, flora, and landscapes. Zion National Park with its red cliffs, forest trails, and river is one of the most visited in the country. In addition, the state boasts Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef, which offer exciting areas to explore. Jurassic-Era Dinosaurs Apparently Loved the Area that Became Utah Utah is a favorite spot for archaeologists because of its dense concentration of fossils from the Jurassic era. More than 12,000 bones — from at least 74 dinosaurs — have so far been excavated. One of the big mysteries of this ancient grave site is the presence of so many animals, and that around 75% of the bones found came from meat-eaters. It’s Home to The Heaviest Known Organism in The World Pando, the “trembling giant,” is an aspen grove located in the Fish Lake National Forest. However, Pando is not a large group of trees but one single organism that spreads over 107 acres. Each of the approximately 47,000 or so trees in the grove is genetically identical and all the trees share a single root system. It’s believed that the tree is 80,000 years old, although there are other theories that place it closer to a million years old. As a whole, the entity is estimated to weigh around 13 million pounds. Utah Has Tough Liquor Laws About 62 percent of those living in Utah are Latter-Day Saints, so the state has strict laws with regard to liquor. Beer that is more than 4 percent alcohol is not sold in convenience stores, grocery stores, or taverns. Until 2017, frosted barriers made of glass and known as Zion Curtains were installed in bars so patrons could not see the bartender mixing drinks. Why? It's because supporters of this practice thought it might glamorize bartenders and tempt youngsters to try alcohol. Utah is Home to KFC Despite the name, the first Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant actually opened in Salt Lake City. Colonel Sanders began his chicken career at a roadside restaurant in Kentucky during the Great Depression, but the first of the franchise opened out west in 1952. ps:Looks like its 6 things and not 5!!!!!1 point -
HCH

As part of the experiment in seeing how this will work, I have moved a thread on the IJ to this section. As the one who began the thread, I have decided that due to the major participation of HCH in its discussion, it would better serve here in this section. We shall see. This is just an experiment.1 point -
HCH

In many ways, this section of this forum is an experiment. It is thought to be a place where people can post that which is well outside of where Seventh-day Adventists generally are. So, in working to see how it develops, I may move here some of the threads to which HCH has made major posts, even if he did not begin the thread. When I do this, the posts of others in that thread will also move to this location. Some of those posts may be well within SDA belief. But, the placement of the thread in this location will serve as notice that probably major content is outside of SDA belief.1 point -
Two Second Comings?

It is easy for you to say you having been mistreated base on the color of your skin! This is all talk because you nor photodude want accept the fact their is no racism. We all are one race, it is very plain and down right hatred and prejudice and it is a hard pill to swallow. The pill it is a sin to hate so you come up with all kind off the wall stuff instead of looking at the plain facts. Truth have been have been covered up making one's ethnic group thinking they are superior to the others and we all come from the same great grandaddy Noah! THE CREATOR Created color and it is a sin to hate one's color which is a part of his culture. It is also where he lived original because of his color of his skin. That's a fact! Live with it or deny it, you have to answer to THE MOST HIGH! You can talk about all other horrific things done to other cultures but not what was done to the Black's man culture. You made him like a beast of burden that was and is a sin and many have not stood up and speak out against it. But, yell and holler if you take down a flag or statute of those who wanted to keep them as a beast of burden. Interesting to say the lease! Took their name, plunder and took over their land, made them economically substandard. Took their dignity and their sense of being and call them all kind of derogatory names. But we can't speak out about or even talk about it because it is the race card thingy! Well guess what IT WAS A SIN THEN AND A SIN NOW! Peace!0 points
