Pope Francis Tells Christians Not to Try to Convert Nonbelievers

According to the RCC, we cannot have a direct relationship with Jesus, but can only have one with him thru the RCC church! The church is our mediator with Jesus. Guess we can ignore that taking the message to the world.

Pope Francis Tells Christians Not to Try to Convert Nonbelievers

How can that be a grave sin? When Jesus himself said to take the message to all the world!!

Pope Francis Tells Christians Not to Try to Convert Nonbelievers

well, we could talk about how he causes the very divisions he decries; and history bears that out very well. However, I suspect there are more essential things to address these days. he will never stop doing the damage he is doing, and continuing on from his predecessors. When that guy says the word "ecumenical" he simply means Roman Catholic. His constant tirades against "those Protestants" has been noticed. Its all in God's hands.

Pope Francis Tells Christians Not to Try to Convert Nonbelievers

Pope Francis again said, “Proselytism among Christians, therefore, in itself, is a grave sin.” The pope said Christian unity is “a Path,” that despite theological differences there is a “practical ecumenism” in which Christians work together on social problems. Unity, he said, is walking together, and for this reason “every form of proselytism among Christians is sinful.” https://ktfnews.com/pope-francis-takes-aim-soul-winning/ “Religious distortions, yes. For example, all religions have fundamentalist groups. All of them, we do too. And they destroy, starting from their fundamentalism. But these are small religious groups that have distorted and have ‘sickened’ their religion, and as a result they fight, they wage war, or they cause division in communities, which is a form of war. Previously Pope Francis described fundamentalists as those who “rigidly” keep the commandments of God, those who believe in absolute truth, and those who refuse to unite in ecumenism. These “small groups,” those who cause division, according to Pope Francis deserve no rights to freedom of speech or the press. https://www.prophesyagain.org/single-post/2016/12/13/Pope-Francis-Says-“Small-Group”-Deserves-No-Freedom-of-Speech-and-Press Pope Francis does not believe that churches have a right to freedom of speech out side of the Catholic church. We are all just "protestors" or we who are Protestants used to be. As one person said, "the protest is over!" While none of the end time persecutions are happening at present, you can see that the groundwork in thought is being laid for these predicted end time laws and persecutions to happen. Offerings are dwindling

For accuracy, this is the local conference doings. Don't know if this is a widespread sort of thing. I do know there is a huge rush to get up an online giving portal via the web. Then you can keep the money flowing even when you can't make it to church! I agree it is between you and God. I do not wish anyone to think I do not approve of giving. In Exodus it says that one should not come before God without an offering. However, it seems that programs are being funded by tithe money that are not acceptable to many. And some have even suggested that tithe be withheld until WO is approved, and vice versa, until the NAD stops fighting the General conference. I would not say that one should not direct the funds away from local conferences, but be very careful where you do send them. Outside agencies do not in my opinion qualify as recipients of tithe money. You can give offerings to them if you wish. One of the problems with tasking local members with ferreting out who doesn't pay tithe is that I know of a number of people that are members of churches in distant conferences that send their tithes to another conference. Perhaps where they live they think those people are slackers when it comes to giving. So, I make no judgements regarding who gives and would not query someone regarding why they don't appear to be giving. I just do the books.

5 Interesting Facts You Didn't Know About The $100 Bill On Monday, March 25, 1996, the U.S. Treasury Department began circulating a newly redesigned $100 bill. Here are 5 interesting facts you probably didn’t know about the redesigned $100 bill... The $100 Bill Last Longer Than Other Denominations No other American paper currency has as long a lifespan as the $100 bill, which stays in circulation for about 15 years. Smaller denomination bills wear out much more quickly. For example, $50 bills wear out after about 3.7 years, while the $10 bill wears out in about 4.2 years. Since the $100 bill isn’t handled as much, it simply lasts longer than more widely circulated paper currency. However, any bill in good shape, whatever its age, is still legal tender. The Same Company Has Produced the Paper for Generations A Massachusetts company, Crane & Co., has made the paper for all American money since 1879. The company started out in 1770 as the Liberty Paper Mill. It even produced the paper used by Paul Revere to print the paper money used by the first American colonists. The company not only makes paper for money, but also produces the paper used for passports and other official documents as well as making premium quality stationery. The First of the 2013 Bills Printed is Worth Thousands The $100 bill that carries serial No. 1 and was released on October 8, 2013, is special. This is because the eight-digit serial numbers were reset. This particular bill would be worth between $10,000 and $20,000 to collectors. Other interesting serial number patterns can increase the value of bills well beyond their face value. No One Really Knows Why One Change Was Made to the $100 Bill Older $100 bills show a picture of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, and the time on the clock shows 4:10. Newer bills have Independence Hall featured on the back as well, but the time is 10:30. Both images were done in the 1920s by engraver J.C. Benzing, and no one seems to know why the times are different. It costs 12.5 cents to produce a $100 bill It costs 12.5 cents to produce a $100 bill. Production of $100 bills is still much higher than it was before 2003 when they cost a nickel to produce. The increase in price is because of the changes made to foil counterfeiters. A vertical blue stripe now appears next to Benjamin Franklin's head. A gold inkwell was also added, and it carries an imprint of the Liberty Bell. Additionally, the Liberty Bell appears to move if one looks at it in different ways.

Church policy is too often the length of a dollar bill. Its been like this for too long, and its not related to "covid-19."

5 Car Brands That No Longer Exist On March 18 1933, the Studebaker car company declared bankruptcy. The company’s president, Albert Erskine, resigned and later that year committed suicide. Here are 5 popular car brands that are no longer made... AMC Let’s kick things off with the company that gave us the Pacer, the Gremlin, and the Hornet. American Motor Corporation was established in 1954 through the merger of Hudson Motor Car Company and Nash-Kelvinator Corporation, making it the biggest corporate merger in the United States at the time. Unfortunately, as the automotive industry became more competitive, the company was unable to keep up and it eventually folded. The most well-known AMC model was the Javelin, which was produced between 1967 and 1974. AMC made the Javelin to compete against the Ford Mustang. Plymouth The 1960s were the glory years for Plymouth, thanks to insane muscle machines like the Road Runner (the horn really did go “meep meep!” when you pressed it), the Cuda, and GTX. Based in the United States, Plymouth was established in 1928 as the first brand under Chrysler Corporation to enter the low-priced market. Despite their lower cost, Plymouth vehicles had standard features that some of the competition didn’t have. By the 1990s, however, many Plymouth models overlapped in price and features with Dodge and Eagle models. After Daimler-Benz AG bought Chrysler Corporation in 1998, Plymouth became defunct in 2001.The most successful Plymouth model was the Duster, which was produced from 1969 to 1976. Hummer AM General, the maker of the military Humvee, first established the Hummer brand in 1992 to offer civilians a version of the M998 Humvee. General Motors bought the brand name in 1998 and produced the H1, H2 and H3 models. The huge Hummer brand could not survive the Recession, and as part of a bankruptcy deal for GM, the brand was discontinued. However, in early 2020, GM announced that it would design and release an electric pickup under the Hummer name. Saab Founded in Sweden in 1945 by Saab AB, the Saab Automobile AB brand was very loved around the world and still has a cult following. Following one merger in 1968, General Motors took 50 percent ownership of the company in 1990 and then became the full owner in 2000. The company was sold again in 2010 to Spykers N.V. After insolvency problems in 2011, the company filed for bankruptcy, and the Saab brand became inactive. In 2012, National Electric Vehicle Sweden purchased the bankrupt estate. However, the new company doesn't have the necessary licensing to actually produce cars under the Saab brand. Pontiac Pontiac gave us cars like the Trans Am, GTO, Grand Prix. General Motors created the Pontiac brand in 1926 as a companion to its more upscale Oakland brand. Pontiacs became more popular and entirely replaced the Oakland brand entirely by 1933. Marketed as a performance brand, Pontiac specialized in mainstream vehicles. However, financial problems and restructuring efforts at General Motors in early 2009 led to the brand being completely shut down by October 2010. The last Pontiac badged cars were built in December 2009, with one final vehicle in January 2010.
