Reflections on a Knee to the Neck and Burning Streets

This blog is not for everyone. It is about a German-American talking to my brothers and sisters who identify, or are identified, as “white”. If you are a brother or sister who is identified as “non-white” or a “person of color,” I have no expertise to address how you are feeling in light of the […] The post Reflections on a Knee to the Neck and Burning Streets appeared first on Jon Paulien's Blog. Ye Shall Receive Power

{taken from God's Amazing Grace} Unutterable Loneliness Through childhood, youth, and manhood, Jesus walked alone. In His purity and His faithfulness, He trod the winepress alone, and of the people there was none with Him. He carried the awful weight of responsibility for the salvation of men. He knew that unless there was a decided change in the principles and purposes of the human race, all would be lost. This was the burden of His soul, and none could appreciate the weight that rested upon Him. Throughout His life His mother and His brothers did not comprehend His mission. Even His disciples did not understand Him. He had dwelt in eternal light, as one with God, but His life on earth must be spent in solitude. As one with us, He must bear the burden of our guilt and woe. The Sinless One must feel the shame of sin. The peace lover must dwell with strife, the truth must abide with falsehood, purity with vileness. Every sin, every discord, every defiling lust that transgression had brought, was torture to His spirit. Alone He must tread the path; alone He must bear the burden. Upon Him who had laid off His glory and accepted the weakness of humanity the redemption of the world must rest. He saw and felt it all, but His purpose remained steadfast. Upon His arm depended the salvation of the fallen race, and He reached out His hand to grasp the hand of Omnipotent love. The loneliness of Christ, separated from the heavenly courts, living the life of humanity, was never understood or appreciated by the disciples as it should have been. . . . When Jesus was no longer with them, . . . they began to see how they might have shown Him attentions that would have brought gladness to His heart. . . . The same want is evident in our world today. But few appreciate all that Christ is to them. If they did, the great love of Mary [Mat_26:6-13] would be expressed, the anointing would be freely bestowed. . . . Nothing would be thought too costly to give for Christ, no self-denial or self-sacrifice too great to be endured for His sake.

I would say that much of what you post is racist. This country is not as racist as you make it out to be or the protesters make it out to be. Granted it, some cops step over the line, but most cops are trying to do a good job. You can go on and on about this person or that one who was killed by a cop, but say nothing about all the policemen who are killed on the job trying to protect citizens against thugs. I do watch a lot of crime shows including camera cops and see what police officers have to face on a regular basis. And then have to put up with all the criticism. Personally, I would not fault the police forces of this nation if they just walked off the job. But they are trying hard to maintain order in this country. What happened to George Floyd was wrong and is being dealt with. But these nationwide protests are over the top in not being helpful to the situation. I do note that you ignored the case of the black police officer who killed a white woman and then had the community demanding his release. The protestors in St. Louis have all been freed after a former police officer was killed by protestors. While we are on the subject of racism, consider the following illustration of interracial crime. This was for the year 2018. You will note 59,778 crimes of white on black. You will also note 547,948 crimes of black on white. Nearly ten times as much for a group about one-sixth the size of the white population. But notice the point of this meme ... media focuses on the white on black crime and calls this nation racist towards blacks. (Too be fair, this graph left out black on black and white on white crime as it was focused on interracial crime. Black on Black is far more deadly to blacks than anyone else.) So, I think we really need to relook at this narrative of racism in this country. It was Jesse Jackson who made this famous statement, “There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps... then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved.” My Admin has done more for the Black Community than any President since Abraham Lincoln. Passed Opportunity Zones with Senator Tim Scott, guaranteed funding for HBCU’s, School Choice, passed Criminal Justice Reform, lowest Black unemployment, poverty, and crime rates in history...AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME! Remarks by President Trump. Until Covid, employment of blacks was at an all time high. And note the other achievments during Trumps term along with prison reform Speaking of "sex problems" of Donald Trump, which you seem obsessed with and with sex issues in general, you seem to fly right by Bidens problems of actual sexual harrassment of women including molesting a little girl right in front of cameras! Joe Biden Pinches Nipple of Montana Senator's 8-Year-Old Niece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_G6rtPFIXEw Do I even need to discuss how Biden got laws passed that led to mass incarcerations of blacks? And I also noted you AGAIN, skated right by the topic of how more black babies are terminated than are allowed to be born in some US cities such as NYC and Atlanta. You even ignore the fact that this was encouraged by someone who is a favorite of current lefty leaders and this person encouraged birth control for blacks because she considered blacks to be inferior. Voddie Baucham Jr - Voddie Baucham Ministries: I couldn't watch the Democratic National Convention. I'm so grieved by their celebration of abortion. And abortion is such a kind word. It's the annihilation of human life.

Actually, not debunked. If, as some claim, it is far right extremists, why is the Biden campaign contributing money for bail? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-minneapolis-police-biden-bail-idUSKBN2360SZ A suspected Antifa anarchist accused of inciting riots in Pittsburgh was turned in to police by his own parents Monday evening. Brian Bartels, 20, is accused of inciting violent protests in the city on Saturday in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd “Police secured the warrant as part of an investigation into a male suspect who incited Saturday’s violence by breaking the windows out of a marked Pittsburgh Police vehicle Uptown, against the wishes of peaceful protesters who tried to stop him,” police spokesman Chris Togneri told Fox News of the search law enforcement conducted on his home in Shaler, PA. https://saraacarter.com/suspected-antifa-anarchist-accused-of-inciting-riots-turned-in-to-police-by-his-parents/

The point I was making that I saw over the years, how he cheated on his wives, lied, took people to court and lost, bankrupt over the years and people did think he was a joke! We all watch entertainment when we were young. I loved football since my early adult like also college basket ball and football. I love basketball in my youth so a lot of news were circling over those years more about the owners and other people trying to start new leagues. Trump was known and mention a lot about his numerous law suits. He seem to always be suing some one! I use to love wrestling, and boxing; guest who was around Donald Trump. Why would you blame me that he always wanted be known. This is not the first time he also wanted to president either. I also live in New Haven CT and back then it was like a suburb of New York. Conn. was the riches state when I was growing up. We did have good schools and then busing made it even better. I lived in a middle class neighborhood with both White and Black neighbors. My mother worked hard and went to college. We moved back to the south when things had improved but started to change all over again. So, I am honest that this is how he always was and he has not change! That's a matter of fact when they were no such thing as fake news! Matter of fact, my first cable news I use to watch was FOX! For years it was great news back in the day. So, even though I was not listening to THE HOLY SPIRIT as I should. I was in the Civil Right Movement and I loved politics all of my youth up to now. I read, and study a lot all my life! That's why I know who Trump was and is base on his character because he once was a Democrat! Peace!

    Trivia

5 Classic Songs You Won't Believe Were Once Banned On June 3, 1956, rock and roll was banned in Santa Cruz, California, after it was believed to be detrimental to the morals and health of the community’s youth. Here are 5 surprising songs were once deemed too scandalous for public consumption… Bobby Darin’s “Splish Splash” Was About a Guy in a Towel This popular 1958 novelty song reached number three on the pop singles chart but was banned because it suggested nudity. It does mention the singer is wearing a towel, but apparently, that wasn’t enough to pacify some listeners. The song does say the singer puts on dancing shoes, so perhaps assuming he also got dressed should have been addressed in the lyrics to keep censors happy. “Puff the Magic Dragon” Was Smoked by Censors Spiro Agnew, the then vice president of the United States under Richard Nixon, called for a ban on this 1962 song by Peter, Paul and Mary when he declared that it promoted drug use. Peter Yarrow wrote the song based on a poem by Leonard Lipton, who, in turn, based his poem on “Custard the Dragon,” a children’s poem written by Ogden Nash in 1936. Both of the authors have always insisted the song contained no references to drugs and was just an innocent, childlike fantasy. “A Day in the Life” Was Banned for Promoting Drugs This catchy Beatles tune released in 1967 with lyrics about current news headlines was banned by BBC radio because of a lyric that says “found my way upstairs and had a smoke.” Found as the last song on the “Sergeant Pepper’s” album, the rest of the songs on the album were played on the air except for the last one. Since Paul McCartney might have been referring to cigarettes or cigars in the lyric, assuming he was promoting drug use might have been a little out of line. One Song Had its Wording Changed for “The Ed Sullivan Show” “Let’s Spend the Night Together,” was released by The Rolling Stones in 1967 and appeared to be about an overnight romp Mick Jagger was suggesting, which almost got the band banned from Ed Sullivan’s television show. As a compromise, Jagger agreed to change the lyrics on the show to “spend some time together” instead of “spend the night together,” but when singing, he substituted “mmmm” for the missing word. “Walk Like an Egyptian” Was One of Many Songs Banned After 9/11 This popular song from The Bangles was banned by Clear Channel after the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers in New York in 2001. The ban was because of the reference to a country in North Africa. A list of about 150 songs was sent to Clear Channel’s more than 1,000 radio stations with strong suggestions to not play them on the air following 9/11. "Walk Like an Egyptian," was one of them.

That page contains every particular of our history; even the hairs of the head are numbered. God's children are never absent from His mind. GC660-661 - During the thousand years between the first and the second resurrection the judgment of the wicked takes place. The apostle Paul points to this judgment as an event that follows the second advent. “Judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts.” 1 Corinthians 4:5. Daniel declares that when the Ancient of Days came, “judgment was given to the saints of the Most High.” Daniel 7:22. At this time the righteous reign as kings and priests unto God. John in the Revelation says: “I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them.” “They shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4, 6. It is at this time that, as foretold by Paul, “the saints shall judge the world.” 1 Corinthians 6:2. In union with Christ they judge the wicked, comparing their acts with the statute book, the Bible, and deciding every case according to the deeds done in the body. Then the portion which the wicked must suffer is meted out, according to their works; and it is recorded against their names in the book of death. I find the book of Jasher that I have read some of to be a very interesting book. I have one copy as a 400 page pdf of which I cannot find the internet source of where I got it. So, the sacred texts website has it there. This is the only possible book surviving from the Old Testament times and even it may not be the Book of Jasher noted in Joshua. The problem is they think being White is a privilege and being Black we are suppose to serve them. We are dispensable to them. Look at what happen the last two nights, out side train people came in to incite and they wore mask and was burning down the Black Community. Photodue, did hear this Sabbath Morning what the Govenor, both mayors said: They were organized Klan, one shown wore black and mask plus he was knocking out windows. A Black brother came over and stop him and he hurried to get away! He also was carrying a black umbrella! They said they were making a lot of noise about their victory on the black web. One group is call buggers or something like that! The man in the White House wants an ethnic group war that why he claiming that voting by mail is illegal. Two Republican States have being voting by mail for years and he voted by mail, but the Democrats will commit fraud. He said the homeless on the street will break in the mailbox and steal the ballots and change them! I cracked up so hard when heard this one I had to write about this! Well, my concern is how the Blacks have been treated for years. If I call out anything, I am a hater because I speak out! Photodude feel like he can read my mind because I do not agree with him on some things! Well, I really like Photodude and respect his comments even though I don't agree with them. I think he wants me to hate him and his leader but I truly don't. I hate what his leader does and how he acts. I just wish Photodude would see, his leader does not care for him like he cares for his leader. He will throw you under the bus when comes to himself, his money, mainly his daughter not so his sons, they OK to do his bidding! The elderly people are seeing that he is throwing them under the bus now. He does not care if they live or die as long as he can get people back to work. Look what he is doing to the people at the meat factories, sad! He lies about him taking the malaria drug, people who believe him takes it. Some have died, he tells them shoot up with Lysol or bleach, some of followers did and a couple of them died. He is the Pipe Piper and they will follow him where ever, I love President Obama but I am not going follow him and end up killing myself-that's crazy! What Photodude don't know about me, I don't agree with everything Obama said just because he is Black or the President. If he goes against YAHWEH, then I disagree with him. I don't worship any man, I worship THE ALMIGHTY ONES! Blessings!

thank you for that link. You might not like what I am going to say but because the article was a piece done by The New York Times; I personally do not attach a lot of credit to their "news," so called. To this Canadian, the NYT is a propaganda organization with very little real credibility of getting at the facts. I did read the article, and its attempt to distance "ANTIFA" from these riots by pronouncing them as "not really an organization with anyone in charge." Thats just codswallop. (not from or by you but by the New York Times). I guess we will have to wait for Photo Dude to chime in on his sources for his statement above. But even a Canadian realizes that somebody has to be in charge and do the organizing for what ANTIFA does. The New York Times could have done much better on this story. There are web sites where one can go to get basic training in all things anarchy. Its pretty clear they are organized. And they are waiting. This article reminds me of another one I read by the NYT about how the little "stickers on fruits or vegetables increase "climate change."
