I always looked forward to his replies here on the forum. A gentle, peace, loving, peace making man of God.

I do not often show up but I felt I needed to post to this. I knew Doug as an online friend who helped me through some rough times. He was there when I needed someone to talk to after my mom passed away. He was always full of smiles and uplifting. I feel for his sons and the rest of his family. He will be truly missed. Rest in peace Doug. We all love and will miss you immensely.

Douglas was one on my mailing list. I have about 150 people on a mailing list that I send greeting cards to about four or five times a year. He was one of few that wrote back so we corresponded by snail mail for several years. He will be missed but he touched so many lives that I am sure he will have many stars on his crown when we meet him in heaven.

Wow, I'm still in shock when Gail notified me today!! I know I will miss him very much and know that he will be one of my first people to look for when we get to heaven!! And as BlessedMan has said "I always looked forward to his replies here on the forum. A gentle, peace, loving, peace making man of God." I most definitely agree with that statement!! I knew something was wrong when I hadn't seen him posting, but never would've guessed this!! Anyway his family will be in my prayers and will look forward to meeting him in the earth made new!!

Never marry someone on that assumption that they will either change, or that you can change them. That is not a good basis for a marriage.

It is a blessing to be able to discern Bible prophecy fulfilled in the news media. So few can connect the dots from prophecy foretold to prophecy fulfilled. So sad! And it is a blessing to be able to say with the authority of the word of God that Donald Trump will be destroyed and Michael Pence will be America's last president that will bring in the 666 Mark of the Beast. Not that either of the facts are pleasant or desirable. But to understand Bible prophecy well enough thru the guidance of the Holy Spirit to be preparing for Christ's Soon Coming! The parable of the 10 virgins tells that 5 of them will wait too late to get ready. And Christ's warning to the Laodiceans is that they will not hear what He has to say. EGW even warned that many would go forward preaching the First and Second Angels' Messages, but they would reject the Third Angel's Message. The final warning is that we do not take the 666 Mark of the Beast. And now that we can identify President Michael Pence FROM THE MEDIA as the one who will implement the Mark and we have Bible prophecy being fulfilled to confirm our faith in God's sure word, false Christs will arise to try to keep us form preparing to meet our God! As it was in Noah's Day wolves in sheep's clothing will try to dissuade folks from seeing truth and preparing for what is ahead. How will you meet Christ at His coming? One that sees his errors and repents and reforms? Or one that refuses to see his folly and digs into his flimsy position and fortifies it with tradition and stamina?
