The Oregon Conference has been in the news recently in regard to financial issues which are resulting in major cuts in programs and staff. US Federal Chaplaincy: Some may have wondered what are the requirements are to become a Federal Chaplain in the United States. The following is the announcement for a job opening om a VA hospital in Arzona. Slight differences exist for military chaplains and probably for other Federal agencies. The following is a good summary of the requirements. As an example, the military has an age limit. The VA does not have an age limit. Martin Greenfield, Auschwitz survivor and master tailor to American presidents, dies at 95 Martin Greenfield was a prisoner in Auschwitz, working in the laundry, when he accidentally tore an SS soldier’s shirt.
