    The Patterns of Bible Prophecy

Prophets are making a comeback in today’s world. The National Enquirer tabloid is full of them. Perhaps you’ve heard of Nostradamus, the sixteenth century French physician and chef of Jewish heritage. Born to a father forced to convert to Catholicism around 1501, Nostradamus became renowned on account of predictions that seemed to come true a […] The post The Patterns of Bible Prophecy appeared first on Jon Paulien's Blog. Tithe Diversion

This topic is developing. As I understand it, more information is being posted on the Internet and/or becoming available to the public. I have questions for which I do not yet have answers. I would like to know if that meeting was sponsored by an independent group, or an Official SDA organization. I ask in part due to my understanding the Walter Veith also spoke at that meeting. As I understand it, he is restricted from speaking at some official SDA meetings, but is allowed to speak at others. I could be wrong on this. I am posting the above video as I consider it to be the most accurate source of information presently available. I think that truth is important.

    School Chaplains

Florida School Chaplains: A recent law provides for public schools in Florida to have religious representatives teaching from a religious perspective. A Satanic group has announced that it intends to submit representatives to participate in this program. See the link below to t hat article. NOTE: The military and prison chaplaincy programs are based on the perspective that all people have a basic right to participate in spiritual activities. As military service and prison confinement automatically restricts that religious right, chaplains must be provided to assist those people in their Constitutional Right to participate. This is quite different from a school situation where there is no restriction on the students participating in such activities as directed by their parents. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/satanists-volunteer-as-counselors-in-florida-schools-after-gov-desantis-signs-law-pushing-for-more-religion-in-education/ar-BB1qRcxp?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=DCTS&cvid=d30a4999ac8f49c7b7c9fd63685ce489&ei=12

Implications of the Flood Story for Bible Prophecy

There are amazing and purposeful parallels between the story of creation and the story of the Flood. When the Flood is described, the language of Creation is used. When the new creation after the Flood is described, the language of Creation is used again. In other words, God used the language of the past to […] The post Implications of the Flood Story for Bible Prophecy appeared first on Jon Paulien's Blog. View the full article

    Noah as a Second Adam

The parallels between creation and the flood are considerable, but they do not end there, Noah, the chief figure in the flood story, is described as a “second Adam.” At creation, the animals are brought to Adam, in the flood story the animals are brought to Noah. “Pairs of creatures that have the breath of […] The post Noah as a Second Adam appeared first on Jon Paulien's Blog. Four Mighty Acts of God (Creation and the Flood)

When you look at the big picture of the Old Testament you discover that everything centers on four major acts of God, Creation, the Flood, the Exodus, and the Return from Babylonian Exile. At first glance […] The post Four Mighty Acts of God (Creation and the Flood) appeared first on Jon Paulien's Blog. View the full article

Conclusion of Women, War, and the Bible

Let me share a few practical thoughts that I take from the careful and painful study in how women were treated in ancient wars and how God implemented incremental, redemptive movement in the midst of ancient abuse and violence. One question is at the forefront of a series like this. Based on what we have […] The post Conclusion of Women, War, and the Bible appeared first on Jon Paulien's Blog. View the full article

  19. The project's proposal to amend the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) to mandate time-and-a-half pay for Sunday work reflects a traditional view of the Sabbath. However, this focus on Sunday has sparked concerns among religious groups like Seventh-day Adventists, who observe their Sabbath from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. While the proposal includes provisions for varying Sabbath practices, its primary emphasis on Sunday could inadvertently marginalize other faiths. View the full article
