These are characteristics of self-actualized people: They see reality as it is. They are more likely perceive if someone is superficial or dishonest. They accept themselves with their flaws. They are independent-minded and thus do not look to others or their culture to form their views. Their self-identity is not tied to what they think others want. They have a purpose outside of themselves to accomplish in life. They can appreciate excellence and beauty. They find joy from their five senses which allows them to stop and appreciate a given moment in time. They have close interpersonal relationships characterized by deep loving bonds. They are also comfortable being alone and can enjoy solitude. Their sense of humor is not offensive. They can laugh at themselves. They have “peek experiences” which are moments marked by ecstasy, harmony and deep meaning. They are empathetic. They have a social interest. They interact with a community and feel part of humanity. They love others for the sake of loving them and not to receive love in return. mystical Jesus Holy Christ stuff right there i'd like to add as we grow closer to the Gd that abides in the heart ..his love the detection (sometimes overwelming) "sees" anyone far from enshrining His love its frightening to see people in charge of sda hostess or elder or minister with resentment over the path God unfolds for them barriers are found in hate n fear n judgment and it deepens whole congregations can be affected one bad apple kinda thing like a cancer ..cut it out with lovelight in our eyes

our church really changed/shifted over this covid thing its been jaring to see in real time and all the pro n con vids that i was sent from waring fractions in otherwise peaceable congregations looking over peoples thoughts on this and the confusion over conscience and personal choices here n there my "roomate" just got his 4th poke me? im not afraid of dying and for his peace of mind over my health i got 3 im glad he hasnt bugged me bout getting another one peace like a river

as i look around the world today i see the fruit of humanity's quest for power/fuel/money bring the the plagues more n more harming the earth more and more sure it looks biblical and God doing it God doesnt hurt or harm another thing for people rightfully not giving their hearts to God God's beautiful character maligned to think God would do such a thing every life is precious in His Gaze we reflect that who has seen God's heart for them God bless You All

In season four Judas starts to become critical of how Jesus is managing the ministry. Some of the other disciples find themselves correcting him. In the Desire of Ages, it reads "Judas was highly regarded by the disciples, and had great influence over them." (page 717). It says that even up to the Last Supper the disciples did not suspect Judas (page 654). It goes on to say that Judas did look down on the other disciples and felt they passed over many opportunities. That does play out during this season. We see Judas becoming more critical of the others. The Desire of Ages says that Christ's waves of mercy were beat back by Judas' stubborn pride. John the Baptist dies in the first episode. The producing and acting is incredible. The narrative between John's birth and his death goes back and forth. The scene when Joanna tells Andrew chokes me up and brings tears to my eyes even after having seen it several times. John accepts his death. He knows his mission was accomplished. He must increase and I must decrease (John 3:30). John the Baptist is an excellent example of the humility we should each strive for. If you are unaware of the Bible Round Table discussions, make sure you download The Chosen app and look for the Bible Round Table discussions. There is a Bible Round Table for each episode. That is where they dig into the teachings of the Bible and discuss parts of the episode that are not Biblical or even unbiblical. There is a lot of theological meat in the Bible Round Table videos. They consist of a Messianic Jewish Rabbi, an Evangelical scholar, a Catholic Priest and Dallas Jenkins, The Chosen producer.

Non SDA Churches Build SDA Church: The article below reminds me of a SDA congregation that I once pastored. We purchased property and building began after I moved to another location. A major issue developed and an additional $10,000 was immediately needed. A local Presbyterian pastor provided the needed funding.
