There are a number of articles on the internet that cite the article and suggest that is is wrong. None of the ones that I have found. give enough information for me to know what the article actually said. I suspect that the Review removed it simply because the editors did not want further discussion. I really do not know.

Did you honestly mean that as a legitimate question? Generally there are those around the guilty that know what is going on and are afraid to speak out. If you have never been close to a situation of clergy abuse you don't understand the punch in the gut it is to find out how many have known. That knowledge itself is almost as bad as the actual physical abuse. And yes,those that knew and did nothing deserve to pay a price for their silence. I am fairly certain that is what was meant by that statement
