Have Christians lost true affection for one another?

I do agree with both, but one thing that I would add to that is, I'm also speaking as an old guy, that everything came to a head starting in 2016 when the most hateful person was looking for revenge against those that he claimed were his enemies!!

Have Christians lost true affection for one another?

That and the cellphones, the young people rarely pull their gaze away to even think on doing good for others, as they check to see what the 'latest' is in fashion, fads, or face creams to say the least, or ways to get more worldly possessions for themselves...

How Should I Respond to My Homosexual Friends and Family?

The best way to deal with homosexual friends and family is to treat them with respect, dignity, friendship - which includes minding your own business. One of the greatest evils of Christianity is its tendency to attract to its ranks busybodies who are obsessed with what other people do in private with their genitals.

  4. Yep. For those for whom I could find ages, the mean age was 73. Two more showed up as 'retired', making them minimum late 60s and one completed his BS in 1956, which would put him in his 70s too. Clarke's law: When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.

  5. "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory." "They shall hunger no more, neither thirst no more; neither shall the sun light on them , nor any heat." Keep your 16 scientists, I'll take the word of God. These scientists will tell us not to worry until it is too late then drastic laws will be placed to try to save the situation and people will turn to what ever power offers us hope in that desperation.

  6. Lots of 'formers' in that list, as well. What's the bet the average age is in the 70s? Little wrong with that, but these are not active scientists, and few if any of them are climate scientists. The fact that they are scientists doesn't actually give their words any extra weight - especially where they are speaking outside their own field. It's about evidence, not authority, in science.

Sixteen scientists: There is no need to panic about "Global Warming"

Odd that for one that claims that it is the environmentalists that treat this as a religion, it is you that characterizes coming over to your political side of the debate in religiously loaded metaphorical language...
