🏔️ Parting shot: Honeymooners in Ecuador Photo: Andrew Mottet Congrats to newlywed reader Andrew Mottet! Mottet sent us this shot from Cotopaxi, Ecuador, overlooking the capital Quito, taken while honeymooning last week.

We are living in a time when we are asking people to pledge their lives in support of the United States. The public is well aware of Desmond Doss who was awarded the Medal of Honor. There are other SDAs who served this nation and were honored for their service of whom we are not generally aware. As a young pastor of a small congregation in the District of Columbia, I had a family who became members who had transitioned from a job in Southeast Asia. The Father in the family had just been awarded the Intelligence Star. The following link informs you of that award. https://www.bing.com/searchpglt=297&q=intelligence+star&cvid=8975d197c2ff488890dcdce9cd12a707&gs_lcrp=EgRlZGdlKgYIABBFGDkyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQABhAMgYIAhAAGEAyBggDEAAYQDIGCAQQABhAMgYIBRAAGEAyBggGEAAYQDIGCAcQABhAMgYICBBFGDzSAQg0NjQ3ajBqMagCCLACAQ&FORM=ANNTA1&adppc=EDGEBRV&PC=EDGEBRV
