Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.
Woody Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Your goal of making the ministry up to the standard of AA is a good and admirable goal. There is nothing more genuine than an AA meeting. Dr. Shane Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 The more I watch Adventist TV and talk to Adventist leaders on the conference and union levels, the more I am inclined to believe the problem with the church isn't the leadership, it is the members in the pews. I think the leadership knows the problems but change is slow in coming. However after some twenty years of going that direction, I think I can see some good effects in many of our churches.
