nishaun Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Snake venom is good medicine. I personally have no idea, maybe it aided in digestion, some spider venom can digest food externally. Before you ask...why do lions have big teeth? Have you ever tried eating a coconut with your teeth, not that lions ate coconuts, well who knows maybe if one fell on the ground. Quote
Woody Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Woow a lot of answers. Maybe i started a topic that you have been hiding in your sub conciousness. Just kidding, i am not a psycho-analysist. But i have one question about the snakes being poisonous thing. How come that their toxic seems to be designed. Was God angry after the fall and said to himself "let s make deadly snakes". Did God adjust his creation or recreated it? Why isn t the bible clear about this? In the garden ... snakes were the most beautiful animal of all and had wings. Not sure what this has to do with having sex ... but I'm sure they had sex back then. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Robert Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Emotions are erratic. If we use emotions to make decisions we are destined to make serious errors in our lives. Like the saying goes, "Follow your heart" meaning follow your emotions. Bad advice, huh? Rob Quote
olger Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Yes, feelings can be treachously deceptive. Eve's feelings told her that the tree was "good." She thought she was looking at life & improvement. Instead she was looking at death, sorrow, weapons, and a 10,000 lb. payload falling out of a B-29 in August, 1945. oG Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."

Administrators Gail Posted June 9, 2008 Administrators Posted June 9, 2008 Truthseeker, the Bible does say that when God made the living things and created our world, that He declared all to be good. This would tell me that snakes were not created poisonous. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Where is it written that they ate the serpent? Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
D. Allan Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 You're right, it does not say that! Sorry I didn't put that more clearly. Let me see if I can do better: The idea is this (tongue in cheek) that if God had commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the serpent instead of telling them to stay away from 'apples', well, we might still be living in paradise, in Eden today.!! It is sort of a joke. Get it? Of course there may be a grain of truth to it too. /dAb Quote dAb O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
Moderators LynnDel Posted June 12, 2008 Moderators Posted June 12, 2008 Sounds like a vegan myth to me! Quote LD
D. Allan Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Mythter Adam and Mythsses Eve were certainly vegan by command. Quote dAb O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
Moderators LynnDel Posted June 12, 2008 Moderators Posted June 12, 2008 So true, and they didn't have to deal with tofu either! How long was Adam and Eve's courtship before they had their wedding ceremony? Did Gabriel sing the wedding song for them? Quote LD
D. Allan Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 They were quite young, weren't they? Did they have to wait until the hormones kicked in? Were they created as adults? or pre-pubescents? -adolescents? Quote dAb O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
