I know that the .Org holds to the teaching that the above underlined places the emphasis upon the idea that supports the meaning - we shall be, thereafter, always be ‘in the air’; that is, a millennial sojourn beyond earth – rather than the stated, we shall always be with the Lord. That noted, what then

must we make of Job’s conviction? following...:

Job 19:25 For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth:

Job 19:26 And [though] after my skin [worms] destroy this [body], yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Job 19:27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; [though] my reins be consumed within me.

Several questions obtain:

/ what does Job mean by the ‘latter day’?

/ and, should we accept that the ‘latter day’ is Job’s reference to the Parousia – then, would it not appear that the Redeemer Jesus Christ will stand on the earth upon the righteous having been ‘raptured’?

Sorry, I'm trying to understand what you are getting at, but to no avail. Would you be so kind as to write this in simple english for this "child"? What do you believe will happen? What do you believe the Bible tells us here?

We know that those who stock up on food will lose what they had due to theft and worms, etc.

We know that those living in the big cities need to leave and that those living in the smaller cities will eventually need to leave as well.

We know that those who are in the medical profession will be able to hold onto their jobs longer. (I have always thought that this was because of Sunday laws, but it may also be partly because the economy will force most everyone else out of business.)

We know that Sunday laws will come as a result of the economy. (With this world wide economic problem I can see now how Sunday laws will also become global. Once the other countries see that this law is working in the USA they too will adopt it.)

We know that natural disasters will become even more common.

We also know that our bread and water will be sure if we have done everything we can and trust Jesus.

We know that we need to seek Him first and that everything we need will be given us.

We know that the only "fix" to this problem is going to be when Jesus comes and takes us out of this mess.

So there is no need to fret. Do the work that He wants you to do; share the Gospel of Jesus. All these other things will come as needed. (He will always wait until the last minute though, so that the whole universe can see that you and I are completely trusting in Him who created us.)
