If she was aware and it is obvious she was,she should have disclosed that. At 17 probably a rather immature decision on her part,but non the less,questions should be answered honestly. Even now, she has not expressed any remorse for the deception, or even for posing for the photos. She has just made excuses and blamed someone else ("I was lied to"). If anyone has read any news report that has reported her as actually saying she is sorry, please share that link. But she is young. I hope that she will learn from her experience that God's way is best, and that she will grow and her faith will mature. The only real failure is in not learning from the experience. It is so common to think that acknowledging when we have failed is to acknowledge that we are a failure, worth less. But just the opposite is actually true. Perhaps it is just in Aussie vernacular, but "ring" when used as a slang term has a meaning which changes altogether what you have said.
