This information has led us to believe that though the dreams appear to be of a supernatural source, we now believe that this source was of Satan. Along with the meetings being cancelled and no future meetings authorized by the board, please know that Ernie and Becky Knoll are suspended from any activity related to the 4 His People Ministry. Please cease contributing funds to this ministry. For those of you who read the testimony and/or received emails from someone going by the name of "Candace", we were able to determine through tracking email IP information, that Ernie Knoll is "Candace". When pressed, he admitted to this on July 21 at 2:43 pm in a phone call to two ministry board members. We have also determined that the "Great Commission Counsel" is also Ernie Knoll. We urge everyone who has a "dream book" to throw it away, as we now understand that there are mind control elements in it. We sincerely apologize to all who have read and believed these messages. We pray that those whose lives have been affected, including those of us on this ministry team and our families, will find closure. Thankfully, we have a loving Savior in Jesus Christ who is willing to forgive all who come to Him with sincere repentance. While we have concerns about some of the arguments and statements made by those who openly opposed the dreams, we apologize to you specifically. We may at some time in the future ask that you consider the unscriptural positions taken, but it is clearly not appropriate at this time. Please know that all of us involved in this ministry, only ever wanted to serve in the cause of Christ, to win souls for the kingdom. It is our prayer that those who have returned to Jesus, as a result of these messages, will not cast Him aside. While we cannot trust in man's opinions, we can trust Jesus. I cannot understand that SDA leaders like David Gates promote these guys. I think seventh day adventism has many cult-like characteristics. There is too much doom-conspiracy and too less grace-gospel. Glad i am not an official member.

Actually - just wait until a truly Biblical prophet comes by God's command to guide the Remnant into finishing the Gospel work. That person will be received with great skepticism and rejection, as people want to avoid getting suckered again... However, I believe David Gates studied Knolls and came to the conclusion that Knolls was false, after initially believing Knolls could be genuine. I've noticed there are at least a few people still clinging to Knolls. Yet the Lord has been pleased over the last 500+ years to send among His people Reformers (and at least one prophetess)...not because they wanted kings and leaders, but because God saw the need to place certain leaders within His people to increase the light given. Ellen White herself stated that there was much, much more light to come to God's people before the end. She also declared rather bluntly why God gave her the ministry she had - that though the Bible was widely available, few really studied it and submitted to its Light - all the while many made the profession they did. For what purpose would it serve that the scriptures and EGW don't already give us? It is better to rely on the word of God and the SOP we have already been given. Best avoid the deception that can occur. We have all the light we need as far as prophets go. What exactly is another supposed prophet going to offer us? Folks, this whole nonsense and scam is why we should rely on the 'bible and the bible alone' Sola scriptura! This is our faith! This is our solid foundation. We cannot, in this age of deception, follow, rely or put stock in people claiming to have visions, dreams or messages. Do you not think this is a primary way Satan will decieve in the last days? I don't care how authentic it may seem. I don't care how much truth there is. I don't care how much you want to quote Joel to justify it... It is better to ignore these things completely and rely solely on the word of God But what about Sister White, you may ask? I believe God raised up Sister White for a purpose, for a specific time period and for a specific reason...to help a movement grow and establish a new church with a specific message. However, today, I don't believe anybody has anything else they need to add in this regard with what we already have. We talk about avoiding the appearance of evil or creating stumbling blocks. Don't you think this applies to these scenarios? For the sake of avoiding deception, it is best to simply walk away from these types of ministries. Having 'more light' doesn't mean hoping, looking for, and relying on some new person with their prophetic utterances that we may hang on. It comes from studying the word of God and reevaluating previously held beliefs that may need rethinking or overhauling. Are we sola scriptura or are we not? No seventh-day church of Christ would go for slicing up scripture so that all you had left were the Gospels and "for sure not Paul". However muslims are big on "excluding Paul" and I think they actually accept most of the Gospel accounts, so if you are really looking for a best-fit for Rich's ideas -- there is a group that would almost go for exactly what he has said. They even have friday evening prayers!
