Woody Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Quote: The church membership books are earthly books, the heavenly books are the books are the ones we need to be concerned about. Oh I agree. But when one's name is removed from the earthly institution ... you can't claim to be of the earthly institution. Why would you want to claim to belong to the earthly institution if it is not one to be concerned with. Just doesn't seem worth a lie to me. May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Master Po Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I do not know if Ernie & Becky Knoll are current members or not of the SDA church. I am looking at it from the perspective whether a person knows Jesus or not.
Master Po Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I don't know what they claim. I am not a "certified" sda christian. My name is not on any sda church books. But I do know Jesus and follow the SDA beliefs. I still call myself an SDA christian, just not a member of the church. :)
Woody Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Quote: Ernie & Becky Knoll are still SDA's I do not know if Ernie & Becky Knoll are current members or not of the SDA church. Which is it? May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Master Po Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Well Jesus will still speak to His people whether they are a member of the remenant church or not. Obviously I believe He would rather His children be a member of the remenant church, but if the leaders don't want some of God's children to be members there, then Jesus will communicate with them outside of the membership. The SDA church does not have exclusive rights to the Holy Spirit.
Master Po Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 In MY book they are still SDA's, but I don't know if they are OFFICIAL SDA members or not. That help ?
Woody Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Quote: I still call myself an SDA christian I guess one can call himself whatever he wants ... but it don't make it so. Do you know if Ernie still calls himself an SDA after being disfellowshipped? May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Master Po Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 No I don't know if Ernie is calling himself an SDA or not, or if his name is on another SDA book or not. But like I said, and Earthly book and a Heavenly book are two different things. That earthly book has no power compared to the Heavenly one. :)
Woody Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Doesn't seem fair of you to claim he is SDA when you don't know if he wants that earthly institutional name applied to him. What I don't seem to understand is why on one hand you claim the label is not important ... and then on the other hand ... you seem desperate to hold onto the name even though you don't *really* have it. May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Master Po Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Redwood, Good point. Then we will let Ernie & Becky Knoll designate what they want of themselves. And as far as my own condition is concerned, I will just say I am a child of Jesus. Now how is that one ?
Woody Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Quote: I will just say I am a child of Jesus. Hey ... now that one I like. For that is all one needs to say. Quote: Then we will let Ernie & Becky Knoll designate what they want of themselves. As far as this one goes .... again if one is not an SDA ... I don't approve of them trying to say they are. It is just not honest. But you are right ... we do have to let them say what they will even if we don't agree with what they say. May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Lutz13 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Nothing wrong with the dream where Candace is mentioned. The problem is not the dream, it is the made up story of Candace. There is a difference. Time is short, and God is bringing it to the forefront through Ernie Knoll, as well as others. God isn't in the business of deception. Ernie mentioned that they think the dreams are from Satan. Yet they continue to deceive people. There is a problem of the dream where Candace is in it. She is a fictional character so why would she even be brought into a dream? Why would Ernie ask such a stupid question knowing full well that she only existed in his mind?
teresaq Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 "God isn't in the business of deception." it seems to me that if we are not studying Christ and learning to be more like Him, regardless of how many times we fall short, then knowing, or not knowing, how short the time is is of no profit. facebook. /teresa.quintero.790

Master Po Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Ernie does not say that the dreams are from Satan. If you read his latest letter, Ernie states that the dreams are from God, and yes he was tempted from Satan, but we all have been and we all have fallen short of the glory of God. This letter explains that http://www.4hispeople.org/documents/ernie_knoll_ministry_update_8_5_2009.pdf and it also explains why Candace among other things was brought into the dream. Ernie & Becky both acknowledge the dreams are from God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Guest Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Ellen White never saw the need to make up lies to get people to believe her.
Master Po Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 That is quite true Richard, but EGW and EK are two different people. How one handles a situation is not always the same way another will handle it.
Woody Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Woody Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 That is quite true Richard, but EGW and EK are two different people. Ain't that true. One is a prophet and one is not. May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Guest Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I guess what I am saying is, a true prophet would never have done that. God's true prophets live up to the light. It's one of the tests of a true prophet.
Master Po Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Now I am going to have to do research and see what kind of mistakes true prophets made. God's people do make mistakes you know. Why are certain individuals trying to put a prophet of God in a "box" ? Actually, there are THREE invididuals involved here. EGW, Ernie Knoll, and the one listed here. http://4hispeopleorg.freewebpages.org/index.html And all three are prophets of God, in spite of the failures of EK and EB.
Guest Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 God's people make mistakes. God's prophets are held to a higher standard. They may make mistakes in their life, but not in their prophetic duties. Not the real ones. What EK did was willful premeditated deception. Showing all that he was not being led by God, but by Satan. God's prophets do not do that.

She didn't care because she knew she had a mission from God and that is what mattered to her. Ernie lied to get people to follow him. He even put that lie into some of his dreams. Which clearly tells me that Ernie is a wolf. They found that the dreams were from Satan(though I think he made them all up). Yet he also found that he still had a gullible following and could take advantage of their pocket books.
Guest Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 You don't have to read very far into one of those dreams to know they were made up in somebody's head. Satan would have done a better job.
Pickie Chickie Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Ernie has been disfellowshipped from the Brownsville Seventh Day Adventist Church and Becky has withdrawn her membership. If you have any doubts, e-mail Ernie and Becky or call the Brownsville church to verify this information.
