skyblue888 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 ...and the arguing about God here reminds me of the old routine of Steve Martin, "Let's all get small..." Yes, let us all get small. The more little we are in our own eyes the more God sees us. And if we are found in that humble state of mind He will teach us and who can teach like Him, even the deep things of God. The more we know God and the more He teaches us the more humble we will become as we realize how little we know compare to what He knows. But the Lord has truths for us that we have never dreamed of or heard of before. Are we willing to see and understand? Humble and teachable the Spirit will open before us all the treasures of His Word. sky Quote "The merits of His sacrifice are sufficient to present to the Father in our behalf." S.C.36.
